My commute to work is 8.1 miles. It takes me between 25-30 minutes.

this goes for anyone here.

I am planning on getting my beer around July 2012. I will be there!

slodave 09-20-2010 07:20 PM

I work from my living room about half the time.

slodave 09-20-2010 07:21 PM

Nynor, thanks for the offer. I'm mostly a Lager guy, but I do like certain Ale's as well, something along the lines of Fat Tire. Well, Pilsner's too.

With normal above freezing weather it takes me about 12 minutes. With different forms of frozen water it can take me up to an hour. Fortunatly that is uncommon.

When I was in Colorado last year I bought the varity 12 packs of Fat Tire. It was interesting and tasty.

Hey! Lookie that. I'm working from my living room right now. :)

what is your favorite lager?

what kind of work do you do from your living room?

the fat tire guys are really cool. i'll steal their yeast any time.

I don't really have a favorite. A number of years ago, something and I get hangovers really easily. In Europe, I try things on the menu - not for hangovers, but find something I like. I am usually fine the next day. A bunch of family lives in Bremen, so Beck's is predominant and I tend to prefer it in the US as well. I also drink Peroni, Nastro Azzurro. :)

I'm an IT consultant, I deal with small and medium businesses. I'm preparing for tomorrow's software upgrade at a hydraulic company. The server and client updates are pretty large, so I download them the night before I go in. The software is proprietary and almost runs the entire operation. They make a lot of military stuff and for the commercial airlines as well.

continental lager sounds like your beer. let me know, i'll be happy to make you my version.

Yes, since the monks locked themselves high up in the mountains and claimed to be studying scripture... What exactly, were these scriptures? Beer recipes?

slodave 09-20-2010 10:14 PM

And furthermore, if you spend all your time up there in the clouds, drinking beer, of course you'll perfect it. :p

Geronimo '74 09-20-2010 10:14 PM

We don't really have any mountains here

Monks over here study beer recipes, yes, and porn of course...

porsche4life 09-20-2010 10:15 PM

I hope to be in SLC in 2012 too! I'm going to try to do Parade as cheaply as possible tho...
