I admit I feel guilty throwing steak scraps out know the dogs would love them. They would likely be fine with eating them, but their output is the next day is far worse. Dogs live such a short life we prefer to feed them food that was specifically designed to keep them healthy for as long as possible.

Some people food is deadly to dogs. Rasins and chocolate come to mind.

I call bs in chocolate. We fed M&Ms to my grandmas poodle all the time. He was like 16 when he got hit by a car...

Guess who still hasn't had lunch and isn't very happy about it...

Lunch is over.

I am about to go home and eat some chilli.

Our last Great Dane had gourmet people food towards the end of his life, but only because it was the only thing that would keep him, um, solid.

If you hadn't fed him M&M's maybe he wouldn't have been hit by a car.... See...

I miss my dog. She was a golden retriever and lived for 17-1/2 years. There were only a couple of things she wouldn't eat. Didn't like pickles. Friend gave her a can of oysters and she tried to roll in em. Caught her one time in a neighbor's garden eating okra off the vine.

After she passed I got another golden, but this one is not nearly as smart and is my Mom's dog, not mine.

Knowing Sid I am sure he fed his dog all the 3's E's and W's and kept the M&M's for himself.

You obviously don't know me very well... I tend to be a greedy SOB and would never share something like M&Ms with my dog....
