Well I closed the shop at three after two hours of cleaning stuff because we didn't have anything to do to get it dirty.
Since it is NewYears Eve I am going to stay up late, I might even make 9pm.
Sid I would love to try that 50BMG hand spoon. It can't be much worse than the Tc I fired in 300 winmag

We'll be sawing logs well before the New Year arrives. So, if I don't rembember to tell you guys later, Happy New Year, Stijners!

I made it to midnight Alice Springs time before calling it quits and heading for the hotel's fart sack.

Shaz has had an allergic reaction to some eye makeup. She looks like she's spent a couple of minutes in the ring with Mike Tyson.

When I woke up this morning I opened my eye into the pillow and scratched it. Eye hurt horribly all day long so kinda know where she is coming from.

Well......made it till midnight.
Was headed up stairs to bed at about 10 when the phone rang......barn fire on Downing road, one of the fire trucks couldn't make it up the hill we need sand.

One of my guys lives right next to the town garage. His wife heard about the fire on Facebook, told her husband, he walked over and listened to the radio in the town truck (we're tied in to fire and state police), figured they'd need sand so he was half loaded when I got there.
Downing rd. is one of our steeper roads and turns to class 4 about a mile up (we don't plow them in the winter). We had already taken the plows off the big trucks so he took the sand truck and I took the 1 ton with plow and sander.
Guess we won't need to sand that road again this morn. .......
