Oddly enough, the Geico commercials don't annoy me.

There is a dealership in Flint that always touts that they stand behind the UAW and they have ALL American vehicles on their lot. The husband used to be Mayor and was crooked as anything. I will never buy anything from there.

I seldom watch TV so we don't see commercials.

I bought two cars from an AMC dealership that was borrowing money from AMC for the new cars he had on the lot and got his loans called in when Chrysler bought AMC. Because the cars weren't worth the loan values, ie depreciation, they sent him to jail for it. it's not just the dealers that are crooked. Know that's what happened because the Chrysler lawyers contacted me. They were telling me that I not only had to give the car back but had pay depreciation because I didn't actually own the car. Only by producing copies of my paperwork showing I transferred the title from AMC to me as a bill of sale was i able to keep them from taking it or any of my money.

The Autocross is canceled for tomorrow. The low is 19 tonight and the high is 32 tomorrow. I can't get my engine to ever get warm enough in COLD weather. Plus being out in the cold just sucks the fun out of an Autocross.

Yep, unless my wife gets cold feet about making the switch to fixed income. She was telling me last night she was nervous about that, even though we've been number crunching together for over a year, with the numbers looking very doable. :rolleyes:

I entered a contest with a local rock station to have a band come visit you at work whilst they are in Flint. The band is POP EVIL from the West side of MI and are really starting to hit it big. Their song is in the newest Dodge Ram truck commercial.

I doubt I'll be selected but you never know. I suggested they bring guitars and we can jam. ;)

and if the drummer has an unfortunate accident they might need a fill in for the upcoming shows.

Can she find something part time in CA. Still brings in some money but you get to love the retired life!

We had some white fluffy crap but less than 2 inches. Likely less than one and it did not stick to the roads at all.
