I hear you there, we have several humanoid units here but I have doubts as to their being sentient.

I have met a few salespeople in person that I think are actually a virus, or at least pure slime.

Think they should all dress like Herb Tarlek on WKRP. My brother did when he was a salesman in the 70's and 80's.

Back when I was a press photographer in Alabama I spent a lot of time at the state legislature. One day the congressmen all decided anyone on the floor of the Senate or the House had to wear a coat and tie. The reporters were not happy. All the reporters dug through closets and thrift stores and brought in some horrendous Herb Tarlek like sport coats and hysterical leisure suits. Sine the rules said "Coat and Tie" lots of Bolo ties, clip on bow ties and various themed ties came in as well.

That was about the time I was ready to get a better paying job so I left that fudge cluster.

The kids are excited because the weatherfolk are calling for major snow over the weekend even suggesting that schools may be closed Monday. yippee

We have been getting rain. We are supposed to get a couple inches of accumulated crystalline rain tomorrow. If the rain we have been getting turns to snow for you, sorry.

Fog nothing but fog as far as the eye can see and that not far here. At least its not freezing fog.

We get freezing fog on rare occasions. We call it frog. We had some really cool hoarfrost on the trees last time we had frog.

There is a local dance studio that has the most annoying to me commercials.
I told my wife that if we won the big jackpot I would buy the local ABC station and fire the staff that approved/aired the spots.

Turns out I can spend that dough somewhere else...



the owner of the dance studio is being charged with embezzlement!! Too bad, so sad, buh-bye!

Is anyone else bothered by the fact that this annoying Peter freakin Pan character is going to a School Reunion?

Yea, we used to have a local car dealership like that.Very annoying commercials and they had the one way tire shredders on the parking lot. Once you went on the lot you were trapped until they were willing to let you out. They went down for not paying taxes.

When I was looking for my El Camino I went there because the had an Elky listed. When I showed up they wanted my car keys which I told them a flat NO way. I looked at the POS Elky that had bad rust, a slipping transmission, it pulled to the left real bad when I hit the brakes, the tires were shot and it overheated on a 3 mile test drive. They wanted crazy money for it. I tried to leave and you have to run a gauntlet of salesmen each saying what will it take t get you in that car. I offered 50 bucks. Then on to the next guy. Same deal, only my price dropped to 25 bucks. They finally let me out and then had the balls to tell me to never come back! Like there was any chance of that.
