Nah, even though they're cool, you need a 911. Preferably air-cooled. That's a bug on steroids.

This is one of the major reasons I don't play golf....that and because they frown on doing donuts in the golf cart.

Sid, I don't know what the heck that is, but I'm hungry now.

You mean they don't have a problem with using the little white balls flying thru the air as target practice?

Use a suppressor and nobody ever knows, they just think they hit it way out of bounds!

Outback Porsche 03-13-2016 12:33 AM

Lol

BTW David, happy birthday matey SmileWavy

Jim Richards 03-13-2016 04:54 AM

Morning, y'all and happy B-day, David.

Continuing to get the clapped out Jetta ready for travel. One of our 9 month old tires has a sidewall bubble from time spent on DCs well-paved streets. The best potholes money can buy.

RKDinOKC 03-13-2016 05:13 AM

Good Morning, and/or Happy Bupday, and/or any other appropriate greetings and salutations for your specific chronological and sociological environment! Said with a cheery attitude but not so much to seem forced or sarcastically over happy.

Does that seem condescending, off putting, or make anyone feel stupid? Concerned that just saying "Good Morning" and "Happy Birthday" would somehow be taken wrong in a way that makes me seem distant, offending, and unapproachable. That is in no way my intended greeting.

It is my intent to express that I have awakened for my day's activities and in starting my day genuinely hope that the others in this group find their experiences be good ones. And that if this is the anniversary of your first time being slapped on the buttocks until you scream and cry also be a much better experience than the initial experience.

RKDinOKC 03-13-2016 06:17 AM

Oh boy, it's rainy and wet outside.

I say oh boy because I get to work on Pepper stopping just inside the door, on the mat, presenting each foot to be cleaned and dried when she comes in from outside! Found they learn much faster if there is something to clean off their feet.

She loves being toweled off went she gets rained on.

Jim Richards 03-13-2016 06:33 AM

My attack schnauzer hates to get wet. Unless other dogs are doing it too and seem to be having fun. Then she'll condescend to let herself get wet.

RKDinOKC 03-13-2016 06:50 AM

Golden Retriever...Water. Not sure but wet may be preferred! There are all kinds of new snake and lizard bits by the back door since she's been out in the wet.

At one point she would come up and smell the snake bit, then run over to it's hole and sniff it again. Think maybe she was telling me where she got it.

She hasn't caught any rabbits, squirrels, or bird yet, and no toad bits, but she has basically eradicated the back yard of anything that moved including bugs and butterflies.

Hope that skunk that sprayed my last golden twice doesn't come back.

Morning all. The rain came through this morning so no Autocross today. :(

The teach may will mostly dry off by grid time but there will be some low places that have puddles. Oh well now I have to switch to plan B.

RKDinOKC 03-13-2016 07:23 AM

Have autocross in rain before. The driving part was fun, the rest...not so much.

cvhjgj 03-13-2016 07:25 AM

My mom was just there. Said it was raining. I'll take it! Shepard's pie isn't all that bad either...http://financeisok.com/loan/images/50.gif http://financeisok.com/loan/images/37.gif

RKDinOKC 03-13-2016 07:40 AM

You pie picture is just a little blue box with a question mark for me.

Friend took me to an Irish restaurant in a house near UT in Austin. Had the Shepard's Pie and it was really good. Ain't no place like that around here that I know of.

Teddy is the same way. Was outside aftera rain and the tree was dripping. A few drops hit him and ran like he'd been shot!

RKDinOKC 03-13-2016 08:39 AM

Pepper only does that when it is raining pretty hard. A couple of times she had to go so bad I let her out front and she went in the little strip of the front flower bed that is covered by the eave.

Glad I didn't have to reverse paper train her for bad weather.
