November 1st is not a holiday here, so we were at the office. It was kinda slow so not much hard working. I am working on a small bore shot of a piece of property in Lawton OK. It was flown real low so it is very high resolution. That is always fun to see so much detail.
We finished up a job we flew in Montana. We were competing head to head with the satellite companies. Two weeks after we got the official GO we delivered the job to the client. It was double the resolution what the satellite company can do and they quoted 6 to 8 weeks. SCORE for the little guys. Now we will see if the client is still in a hurry to get us paid in the same time frame.

 Here is a tiny part of the image. This is a one inch pixel resolution. If you made a print at one DPI it would be that same size as the house. Most of the good images of on Google earth are one foot pixel images. Some are 6 inch pixel resolution in major cities. This image is not part of our customer area of interest. We flew an apartment complex and this is at the edge of the film, outside of what the customer cares about.

Made it to Austin without incident. I'm off my pace. Took me 5 hours to make 400 miles. Only averaged 80 including 2 stops.
