Rain bets the hell out of ice or snow. No shoveling involved with rain.

Shoveling snow is just getting a problem out of your way and waiting until it goes away.

Yea, it does beat an ice storm. It is a real pain to shovel ice. I am for sure happy it is spring and real winter is done for now. We may well not get another hard freeze. That will be OK. Of course I will HAVE to mow the yard this weekend.

All I did was tell a woman from our HR department that was checking off the list of emplyees being tested about my foot ordeal while waiting to be able to provide a drug screening sample. Couldn't go and was the last one there. Which means there were no witnesses. My word against hers.

Most people that don't like to hear about that kind of stuff tell me they don't like hearing about it, not "suffer" through it then try to get me fired for it. Just don't understand how telling someone I had to sign a form to say it was okay to use the lab grown skin for skin grafting because it was made from foreskins was sexual harassment. She was really interested when told her about the powder Oprah called pixy dust grew 1/3 of my foot flesh back. And that one of the medications to promote healing was oak bark, and another was plain old honey.

HR Director told me I would have been terminated if my brother hadn't stopped them and that he wanted me to know that. Everyone I've talked to says I need to get a good lawyer and take them to court. That I have a very good case of being wrongfully accused and disciplined. That it is a big deal and effects my future earnings. Was told the HR Director should have stopped it way before it became or was considered a termination or disciplinary action and at most asked me to apologize if I offended her. Especially since it was a couple of comments in one conversation that lasted over an hour without any issues and not an on-going interaction.

I am still trying to calm myself from being very upset and pissed off.

Damn, you have got to be kidding me, if that woman got offended by that how the F does she manage to even order a burger and survive.
I have gotten so beyond pissed at how we as a nation have turned out. I would ask a few questions here but I am sure my questions would be considered racist, sexist or homophobic

No corroboration and went that far = that HR Manager should be finding a new job (outside of HR). I'd say sue, but that won't effect your future earnings potential - it'll just effect your chance of ever getting hired again...

Thanks Glen, made me laugh.

We had a client call and say there was an issue with the elevation values on a project we delivered. We usually get defensive because we try hard to be well within the National Map Standards and will not deliver a project that is off.

Then she said the elevations were coming in at over 200,000 feet. Well ya, that might be an issue for elevation values on this planet. We started looking at it and somehow she had hit the millimeter button and not feet. That is a bit outside the accuracy standards.

Well, was forced to file my comments on the report before I could talk to a lawyer. Won't say anything about rushing the paperwork on this issue.

I wrote this...
"I disagree with the accuracy of these statements. I did not threaten her interests or safety. I did not sexually or racially harass her. I understand that she was offended and would like the opportunity to apologize."

The statements were full of inaccuracies that put me in a bad light up to and including starting with a statement by the HR Director that this was a makeup drug test and anyone else would have been fired for the excuse "couldn't make it" to the original drug test. Interesting there were other people doing the makeup test that were sick on the original test day just like I was. I even posted here that I had the runs. Guess it was bad that I told my boss I even attempted to go to the drug test despite being sick. This pisses me off even more.
