Which version of Win10 do you have? Home sucks for this stuff.

flipper35 08-09-2017 12:32 PM

Oh, we finally got the drum kit mostly back together. Then I played some Beach Boys and stuff for 45 minutes. My arm finally gave out. I forgot what a workout it can be.

All the computers have Win 10 professional. It takes a pro to figure out the networking issues.

flipper35 08-09-2017 01:14 PM

Pro isn't as bad to work with, you have a few options but there is a reason we haven't adopted Win 10 yet in a corporate environment.

So, does it lose the credentials to the share or are the shares setup with no credentials required?

GH85Carrera 08-09-2017 02:38 PM

It is just weird.

The laptop shows up on the two other computers on the network. My main system shows up on the laptop but not the other computer. The other computer can be seen, but it asks for a username and password which does not exist. All I care about is access to a folder called work on each computer. I want to be able to copy move and delete files. It is 100% a peer to peer, no servers at all.

All three computers have a different result.

For the PC Server folders I need things from or to update things on at work...I use my Mac to access them. It just works and I don't have to constantly fiddle with it. On my PC I was having do delete and remake my shared drives way too many times.

OMG they just get dumber and dumber...tit booty twerp tinkle hooter

Nope, the funny words didn't help. Had to resort to stomping around house using the real curse words.

There's a phrase in Chinese for when you're sitting on the can and you've run outta TP. It translates to: Sitting in Sh t Jail.

Be really a bad deal to be "sitting in s it jail" when they have these things where you don't actually even sit!

When it comes down to it, we're all just a bunch of wankers. :D

I call it preventative maintenance.

There's no way I'm getting prostate cancer. :D

GH85Carrera 08-10-2017 06:31 AM

Morning all.

It is weird to have to stop and thing what day is it. I wanted to send an email to a business client on Monday and thought it was still Sunday. It was actually Tuesday already.

Jim Richards 08-10-2017 06:42 AM

It's Saturday.

Porsche-poor 08-10-2017 06:56 AM

Morning all. Sid we had a sitter but she quit on us to take care of you!!!!!!

GH85Carrera 08-10-2017 06:57 AM

Everyday?

But regular people work Monday to Friday and don't reply to email on the weekends.

Porsche-poor 08-10-2017 07:01 AM

email on weekends is another reason I don't have my phone hooked to the company.
