You don't limp as much either.

Porsche-poor 08-14-2017 07:08 AM

Morning all. Yep you had Seattle weather. You can send some back if you want.

GH85Carrera 08-14-2017 07:22 AM

I wish we could get a break for a full day and have clear weather for just a day. Actually just a few hours on one day would be enough. We received another .20 inch or rain last night.

Porsche-poor 08-14-2017 07:33 AM

we had enough rain to help clear out the smoke from B.C.

GH85Carrera 08-14-2017 07:37 AM

Haven't they heard? Smoking is bad for you!

And I always thought Canadians are supposed to be polite!

Porsche-poor 08-14-2017 08:48 AM

oh they are but the trees are not so nice.

We were out and about most of the weekend. On the way back from the fights Saturday night we decided blue is a much brighter flavor than yellow.

Welp, driving the Cayenne home...you just don't miss the power as it gradually goes. Felt like the difference between driving my Cayenne S and driving the Cayenne Turbo! Man, that sucker really scoots.

Oldest bro Bob had a heart attack last night. They put in 3 stints. He has already had bypass surgery. Guess I get to drive to Tulsa this evening to go visit.

flipper35 08-14-2017 11:28 AM

Give it a year Richard. You eventually become immune to the power. Trust me on that.

Porsche-poor 08-14-2017 11:40 AM

Bummer on the brother. Hope he mends quickly.

RKDinOKC 08-14-2017 11:43 AM

Yeah, especially if he ends up recoveing at my house like his last 2 heart surgeries!!!

Do NOT like trying to take care of someone that does NOT follow doctors orders and has complications because of it.

Jim Richards 08-14-2017 11:48 AM

Good luck Richard and best wishes to your brother. SmileWavy

RKDinOKC 08-14-2017 12:43 PM

Hey, I get to drive the freshly tuned up Cayenne Turbo to Tulsa an back!!!

Looking for the bright side.

Porsche-poor 08-14-2017 01:00 PM

enjoy the drive!!!!

flipper35 08-14-2017 01:56 PM

Keep the turbo spooled up for us!

Hey Brent how much run way do you think I need to tell dad he needs for one of those safe-tech planes with a 50" wingspan. I can't talk him into the little one.

flipper35 08-14-2017 02:04 PM

I hand launch our Corsair and belly land it in the grass so it doesn't use a lot of runway. That said, I use a lot of runway because I can't put it down exactly where I want to just yet. Maybe within 50' or so. They just glide forever it seems. The larger wingspan will be worse.

The Corsair is 46" or 48" wingspan. Easy to hand launch if it is trimmed properly.
