At least you're getting the full measure of their customer service in advance of their installation.
|
As a "Business" customer I am not even the slightest bit okay with AT&T "service." AND they have already sent me a bill. It does not show the static IP addresses I requested, and added an installation charge that I was told would be waived because of a promotion. Does not look like this is anywhere near the reliability I provide for MY customers.
|
Maybe I misunderstood waiving the installation charge and instead they are waiving the installation itself?

Good Mornin.
Supposed to get up to 44°F today, then around 50°F for a high for the next week around here. |
Good over the hump day morning.
Pete, I think the record cold ever for OKC area is -11. I don't ever remember much below -2 or so. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Blue_Norther_of_November_11,_1911 I can't imagine the folks dealing with the weather on 11/11/11 From the nice Indian Summer to well below freezing. |
-11 this morning when I came to work. Should be up to 32 by Monday.
Pete, do you just set your freezer outside this time of year or have a cache outside and turn the freezer off? How cold does it have to be to let the Cat idle all night to save it not starting in the morning? |
So, AT&T hook you up yet?
|
Richard, my business partner had the best luck going to a AT&T store. The employees there are face to face, and they really seem to help more than a voice on the phone.
|
afternoon all. we are above freezing today and probably for the rest of the week.

No att joy. Still not a peep.
Had to go to meeting at the office, then to an appointment with my dermotologist. The doc appointment was for 11:30. Finally got in to see her at 3:30. Was expecting to spend only an hour at the doc and get lunch on the way home. Took so long my blood sugar tanked. Came really close to passing out. Felt the closest I've ever been. There was a diabetes doc down the hall. They came and took my blood sugar. It was 45 think am supposed to go to emergency if under 50. They ran and got my some glucose pills and a sandwich from their deli. By the time she finished her exam I was feeling better. I take two kinds of insulin. A long acting and a short acting. I dose the long acting based on when I expect to eat how much during the day. If I eat more than I planned for I take some of the short acting to keep my blood sugar from spiking. If I don't eat at the time i regularly eat or not enough carbs the long acting insulin makes my blood sugar too low. Think it served her right running that far behind expecting her patients to wait 4 hours! Found out she even went to lunch while her patients from before lunch, including me, were waiting. On a good note, got the deposit today for buying my Vacation hours, $8K! |
That is cool they buy them out. Here as I have stated it is a use or loose, or fill out lots of forms stating why you should be allowed to roll them over.
|
They are only buying them because they have been asking employees to work a lot of overtime. Otherwise unused fall off. Same with sick days. So double bonus if you are working overtime in production.

Arrr, she looks ripe for the plucking! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...eys/pirate.gif

Richard you need a new dermatologist. A 4 hour wait is unacceptable. That doc just has a power trip.
My dermatologist has an office that should give lessons on how to run a medical practice. They make an appointment, and ask that you show up 15 minutes before the appointment time to sign in and do the paperwork and pay any co-pay and get the insurance issues done. Most of the time I get done with that in 5 or 10 minutes and go to sit down. Within 60 seconds, they call my name and off to a room. The nurse asks the same old questions like do you have any specific issues you want checked. Take off your shirt, and pants and strip to just your underwear, no socks. She has left before the strip show. The doc comes in a minute later and looks me over, usually zapping a couple of spots on my face. Living all those years in Hawaii and no sunscreen has a toll. He leaves, and I get dressed and go hand the paperwork to the nurse and make an next appointment. I walk out the door usually right at my appointment time. TGIF everyone. |
G'day Mates!
Thats how my Regular Doc is minus the stripping. When the nurse finishes taking my vitals, the door doesn't close from her leaving the room before the doc walks in. His appointments are every 15 minutes and he rarely if ever takes longer than that. Yesterday I was waiting for the elevator when the nurse ran and got me. Should have told her to call me when they can see me within a reasonalbe time, I have to go eat. Instead I scared the dermatologist by almost passing out on her. |
