We are having chamber of commerce weather. When the high for the day is in the 70s and mostly clear skies it is just fantastic outside.

The owner of the building came up and grabbed the negatives, and some other junk. Some is useful, some is useless. At lease he did not dump them in the trash here. I feel a bond with those old negatives. Sorry to see them leave the state. I just hope he does not just trash them. WTF, they are not mine. I am sure he thinks they are worth mega thousands. They might be is someone spent a huge amount of time and effort to scan all of them and file them as section township and range, year and resolution. That would cost a huge pile of money and be a lot of work. I can't imagine he will do that. Maybe he will find a buyer. 14 file cabinets with 4 drawers each plus a lot of 4x5 negatives. I bet there are a million negatives total. And that is just the cut up stuff. Thee are 70 or so rolls of film with 500 images each.

I have another print job working. I have made four trips over to the print shop. Drop off, go pick up a test, drop off, pick up a test. His printer prints darker and blue-magenta than it should. I have to make my files light and yellow-green to get the end results I want.

They have been great to work with. With luck they have a version that is ready to roll.

Went to eye doc this afternoon. L 20/40 R 20/20. Haven't had any swelling of either retina for 5 months. Left eye does not have any bleeding (floaters) at all and is clear except for a cadilac. Right eye has some bleeding but not enough more to measure so did not need a shot especially since there is no swelling. Says doing great and showing improvement that has been a long time coming. Think that means not having to get frequent shots to keep the retina swelling at bay.

Went to the grocery store. They are not playing fair at all. As you go in the front to there is the overwelmingly good aroma of ciminon rolls cooking. Then they put a big table of fresh cimonin rolls that you have to walk by. Foiled them, bought a fresh Apple Pie instead!

Morning all. Wow, I am loving the weather. It is 54 degrees and pure San Diego like weather. It hasn't rained in a week but we will fix that we are bidding on a project.

The west cost is burning and Texas is recovering from epic flooding and Florida is getting ready for a epic storm and the east coast is preparing for Irma. Brent, I see that the weather has cooled off a lot in your neck of the woods.

This is new. Last two times I went to the eye doc dilating my eyes made them a little blurry when trying to read for a few hours. Then the next day, total blur can't hardly see comparitively. After a few hours it clears up. But it is weird. Never had it do that before. When I called the doc about it he says just give it another day.

The higher up you go the more important you think you are therefore the less you read.

Morning all.

For today's business environment a LOT of work is being tasked thru and pertinent information distributed via email. It amazes me these people still have a job. How many times can they claim they didn't get information they signed off on before they are replaced? They don't even get their hand slapped! Instead they have to waste everyone's time with a MEETING to inform everyone. And guess what. Those that claimed they didn't get informed aren't even taking notes!

I really need a replacement for Autocross to clear my mind off this kind of stuff.

High of 67* today Glen.

About time to close the pool for the year.

Richard, our old CEO would mess around during meetings and at the end ask questions that had already been answered during the meeting wasting everyone's time.

Made a CEO really pissed off. We had a meeting for his benefit so it was basically the third time for the presentation. CEO showed up when the presentation had just finished and asked them to start over making it the 4th time. It was an hour long presentation that should have been about 15 minutes.

I put my head down and fell asleep. The CEO woke me up and asked me if this stuff wasn't important. Told him I'm sorry, this is why I don't listen to TV evangelists. When I keep hearing the same thing over and over I fall asleep.

He had me go from the meeting to his office and we ended up having quite a yell fest. It brought in the President and my Brother the Chairman of the Board. The CEO and President AND my boss Director of IT all three got majorly chewed out by the Chairman.

Good Mornin Group. Hump day done come and went.

Weather report. Yes we are having weather. And the sun did come up this morning.

Nephew and nieces boy, Bridge has been mowing my yard this summer. Two weeks ago he started football practice and hasn't mowed it since. Yesterday afternoon neighbor from 3 doors down came by to see if I was okay and offered to mow my yard. Guess it's time to give up on Bridge and mow the yard.

Put my edger, weed wacker, and mower away after running them out of gas 2 years ago. They were all bone dry along with my gas cans. So had to get nice fresh petrol. The edger and the mower both started on the first pull after 2 years! Haven't tried the weed wacker yet.
