In Oklahoma, by any chance?
Local Floyd's (chain of hair places) has a hot barber. Excuse me, stylist. Tattoo'd. Like getting a haircut from Kat Von D.

Noah goes to Floyd's. He loves the loud rock music they play. He may only be 5, but he also knows a pretty girl when he sees one.

My barber is a guy about Daves age, although not as ugly. The girl that has the chair across the way is quite a looker though, and she dresses appropriately.

Ah ha ha ha, Don't have enough hair to worry about so I just use a Flowbee. 5 minutes, no mess, and it's free.
I do have fond memories of barber I found when I was 16 that had a topless wash girl.

Evening guys..... Studying Chem....
*rant on* Found out tonight that I will be making a $10 commission when I make a cell phone sale. This slightly hacks me off b/c my boss acts like its some big motivator. Not really b/c I am fairly certain that he is getting a much larger piece when I make a sale. That piled on top of only paying me minimum wage, and not fulfilling a promise made to me when I started is making an unhappy Sidney. I should already be a certified tech by now but I am not.... Not a big deal in his eyes, but I need that for my Pharm school application. I'm going to talk to him tomorrow about the tech certification. I will then work on the wages. I really don't give a flying fuch about the commission as I really am supposed to be in the Pharmacy, not radioshack anyways. Just pissed me off that he acts like $10 bucks is some big deal. The fact that phones aren't being sold isn't for lack of motivation, we aren't selling phones b/c he is doing a halfassed job advertising and no one is coming in looking at phones. In 3wks I have had exactly 2 half assed bites. Pissing me off when I am on Stress=Max is not a good idea. He can dink around the other two guys b/c they are slackers and really don't care. This is merely a stepping stone for me and I'm going to be treated like I should be or I will hit the road. I know I could be making at least $3/hr more at another Pharmacy if I was a certified tech. I know of one guy my age that makes $15/hr working part time doing the same thing I do. *rant off* |

Exactly... I'm fine not making big bux. He can be frustrating but he is good about giving me time off when I need it and he gave me a job with 0 experience, at the same time, paying a tech minimum wage is straight up BS. I'll talk it over with my folks, but I think I am going to push to get my tech and then ride things out till I get into pharm school. Then I will start hooping and hollering about things.

but could you get that tech certification working at the rock wall??
If so, then make sure you get that payraise or go work the rock wall. If not, then you really have no other option, do you?

Make sure you get that certification, make him tell you when you will be getting it, or leave and get it somewhere else.
If you really need it, you have no other option.

I would hate to do it to him, but his former employer is a good customer of my dads. I'm sure they would hire me in a heartbeat.
