We went to Bridal Cave today. They have very few if any bats.We did not see any evidence of them. The cave is wet. the ceiling drips water on you constantly. It is 60 degrees and 100% humidity. Very pleasant actually. They call the drips of water "cave kisses." it is a one hour tour.
I did the drive and compare and got beat by a few millimeters. It is fun to stand on the brake, and the gas, and let off the brake and GO MAN GO. The tricky part was to get to the finish line first and then stop before the stop box they set up. The guy that beat me won the day's competition.
I will blame it on the tire difference. He had the Sport Plus MAX and I had the plain Sports. No way it could be me not getting off the line fast enough. It HAS to be the car.

Well, if they (your P&C) can't do the job well for your company, they are benefiting another.

Not that it helps you any.

RKDinOKC 07-12-2018 02:49 PM

Is THAT what the Culture part means, they force workers to go to your competitors.

Can't imagine why an employee that cleans the commissary would need to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement when fired. Must have some pretty special coffee...Or maybe it's what they put in the sugar packets.

Well today we are going to do a self guided tour to somewhere. We haven’t decided where. I will NOT be going to Branson. BTDT long ago, it is a boring place and too much traffic.

morning all. The boss started in on me to take the leadership training course. I have a few problems with it.

1. I lead no one anymore so why bother.
2. I have issues with the fact that the course attempts to tell you how to apply the info to work as well as home life. Thanks but I just work here I don't need you telling me how to run my personal life.
3. Day one has a mandatory 2 hour after hours team building exercise. Usually involves beer and bowling. Well I don't drink anymore and I don't bowl and after 4:00 its my time cause you are not paying me anything to be here.

Sounds like a good day to come up with a sick day.

Porsche-poor 07-13-2018 07:07 AM

I just don't sign up for the class and delete all the emails about it.

GH85Carrera 07-13-2018 07:10 AM

Even better, and requires no use of a sick day.

RKDinOKC 07-13-2018 11:47 AM

Is it the weekend yet?

GH85Carrera 07-13-2018 11:58 AM

Felt like the weekend all week. It is funny talking to other Folks and hearing “what day is it” a lot. Today was the last of the autocross. Tonight is the banquet.

We went for a short drive some pretty scenery, some fun roads and of course LUNCH. Burp. We met another couple and did the drive with me leading for a while, and then them.
We got back to the hotel by 1:00 after a stop at the gas station to fill up and find a good parking spot near the elevator for loading the car.
Mrs Carrera is in the room napping. I am in the bar area using up some drink tickets a vendor handed out. Free beer. Burp.
The banquet tonight is my last chance to use up the drink tickets

Porsche-poor 07-13-2018 12:03 PM

Ask Jim or Jeff, they might know.

Think I will just go fix a talk cold drink and do some binge anime watching. Crunchy Roll has a whole section of Ecchi.

What????

Mrs Carrera is still napping. I missed the 1/2 mile inside the hotel doe to the boathouse bar. Enjoying a “Bur oak brewery Boone county ale” and it is tasty. Different folks to see.
The bad news is now I have to walk UP 5 flights of stairs and a 1/2 mile back to my room. No wait, it is 6 flights up.

RKDinOKC 07-13-2018 02:20 PM

Ecchi has those crazy japanese story lines, with suggestive characters. camera angles, and actions, but nothing vulgar.

This one the worlds oceans are taken over by these fleets of ships that are all run autonomously by AIs. The AI of each ship has a female persona because all ships were referred to as she. This one submarine AI entity decides it needs a captain. The series follows the adventures of this rouge AI submarine and it's captain.

Glen might need more beer to watch it.

Not enough beer can be consumed for that. I would fall asleep before I can get enough beer down.

I had to come back to the room and take a nap. All those stairs and walking (and a couple of beers) wore me out.

This is the car that beat me by a few MM. The one I drove was identical and white and a total slug. That is my story and I am sticking to it! Both were 718 S and lots of fun. Foot on the brake, foot on the gas pedal to the floor, let off the brake. Go man go. Wheeeee.

Porsche-poor 07-13-2018 02:38 PM

I'll take it.

GH85Carrera 07-13-2018 02:45 PM

Yea, it was a cool fun ride. Zero doubt my wife wants me to sell my 911 and get a Cayman. It is tempting. If I found someone to pay my price for the 911 I might do it. After we pay at least 100K on the 182 note or more I might think about it. Or not.
