I finally got the past president and the new president of the club to the bank to get the new signature cards done. I remained on, but the old signatures are no longer on the account. So Richard, you can't write any checks, and neither can a member that moved to Colorado last year.
It took us 45 minutes for the lady to prepare all the paperwork, and for us to sign our names in about 10 places. And give them current SSN and a copy of our driver's license place of employment. No blood samples needed just a DNA sample. We then went to a local restaurant, and discussed the transfer from the former president to the new one. Another task finally done. |
check marks on the list.............good work.

I am trying to set up my DVR to record as much of the 24 Hours of Daytona as possible. It jumps around from NBC, to Fox, and FSN2 and skips a few hours completely. One section that is supposed to be broadcast on FS1 shows as some wrestling hall of fame show. I sure hope they continue to broadcast the great basketball games of the the 1960s instead of a real sport. Men playing a game 50 years ago gets air time, and men acting (badly) like they are wrestling, but real sports happening now, just have to watch that on a app. Sigh.

You mean I could have made a withdrawl all this time?
Don't remember signing anything for the club at a bank. Thought a good Pres should delegate and have the Treas take care of all that financial stuff. |
I like the Cash Cab host, Ben Bailey's stand up routine where he talks about being Lactose Intolerant Intolerant. Think the routing is called Accidental Ornithologist.

So now my ophthalmologist's office contacts me. They want their annuity payment for an appointment. Since I am fond of my 20-20 vision, I will set up a time soon to see him.
My dentist is already on the schedule, and that will pretty much get me taken care of for a while. |
Glen, who moved to Colorado?
|
It wasn't Brian Swope. Told me he was now president and asked about doing the Warbonnet monthly events postcards I used to put together and mail.
Also told me they were not mailing the newsletter any more and he liked getting paper to read instead of reading online. Told him he needed to get a Kindle for the bathroom. |

Discovered the grocery store is the least active from 10am to 11am. It's not the other shoppers going up and down the isles. or waiting in line at checkout that matters. It's the availability of prime parking spaces, next to cart corrals. Pepper woke me up at 4:05am. Tried to let her out, she did not go. She just kept nudging me. Told her I would follow her. She happily (prancing) lead me to my tester. Blood sugar was 70. I felt really groggy. Washed down a chocolate iced graham cracker with some milk, an gave her some chicken jerky. Waited 15 min, rechecked blood sugar was 90. Went back to sleep. Pepper woke me up again at 9am saying "I wan out." Let her out and checked my blood sugar. It was still in the normal range. We did our normal breakfast routine. This is the 4th time she has woken me in the middle of the night she did not want out that my blood sugar was low. It is the first time she kept bugging bugging m until got my testing stuff. She has not woken me unless she needed out or my blood sugar was low. |
Pepper is one smart dog!
We went sailing this afternoon. It was great for almost a half hour, but then the wind died. After bobbing around for a while, we wrapped up our sails and motored back to the harbor. Oh well. Not too far from the entrance to the harbor, my wife starts yelling that she saw a (Grey) whale briefly on the surface. Unfortunately, I didn’t see anything and neither of us saw a whale after that. Hmmmm. Mirage? I was also excited this afternoon. My temporary crown broke in two. Just great. My permanent crown is scheduled to go in mid-week. Now I have to try to move it up a bit. Life is great. Happy Saturday, y’all. |
Stijn!!
We had 62 degrees and clear blue skies. Perfect weather. The bosses wife decided we should go for a walk. We hoofed it over to the street Richard lives on, did a 180 and walked back. 1.1 miles. It was almost like exercise or something.
