chase? there is no chase! there is only conquer, young Jedi.
I'm in a dilemma about which one to conquer first... Although scheduling is quickly making my mind up for me.
What's the dilemma.... Threesome!
I say alphebetically.
Or weight, in ascending order!! so, change of topic: Plumbers, what's up with those guys?! the fawcet in our kitchen that was new 2 years ago came loose and all of my attempts to tighten it were in vain. So I order a special locking thingy and can see quickly I am not going to be able to install this myself. I call the plumber and he sends up a guy. He arrives here at 8:05, quickly realises that the part I ordered is not going to go in there but he gets a pair of pliers up in there and tightens it to the point where he says it won't loosen up again. he leaves at 8:35. I'm thinking this is going to be stupid expensive (everything in Norway is) for just tightening an oversised nut under my sink, but if it holds then fine. Then the bill comes yesterday. he charged me for 1.5 hours!! WTF? so I call the company and the manager starts trying to rationalise it, saying that the time he uses to get the parts he needed (WHAT PARTS?), get out of their building, drive up here (ITS 5 MINUTES) and the traffic (WHAT? WE LIVE IN A TOWN WITH 8,000 PEOPLE THERE'S NO TRAFFIC!), Walk from his truck to my house (OH, YEAH, THERE'S 15SECS THERE!), then of course drive back to their shop (WITH ALL THAT TRAFFIC) go back into the office, do the paperwork, probably have a coffee and a $hit and I'm supposed to pay for all that. Even still, how can all that take 1.5 HOURS?!? Way to f'in loose a potential customer, *********. |
Morning......
Morning Rick! Cheer up!
Was I un-cheerie? I mean more so than usual?
Yes, you sounded like you had a bowl of "not so cheerios" this morning.
Or like someone spat in your coffee ( now that would piss me off for sure) Morning Rico! |
Hang an oyster in my coffee and I'll have a foot in your back side. :)

I have just recovered from the last night shift. As far as I know they are all still alive. Oddly enough the sun is shining today. Time to wake up the old 911 for a "spirited" drive in the country side. Yes, Dave, I will doing about 45 mph max..
Turboo - yer Dad in the merchant marine? lots of Norwegian sailers found a good port over there.
Give it some stick, Livi! Todays' happy tale: This is going to PPI this morning (US Eastern time): http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1258714500.jpg |
That a rally turbo?
Good luck, and I agree with Dave, Yikes a 4X4 930
I agree, it does look a little high in that photo. not sure why.
looks ok here: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1258716248.jpg I was just trying to show it with the right rims. |
This is how a 911 should sit
jezuz, is that your car?
you've got like 15mm of clearance for you back tire! I would like to have mine lowered. damn US specs! |
I'll be sure and tell Lanna you think she isn't low enough. :)
How is that thing on speed bumps? I've been wondering about that as I have 9 of them (big muvva's too) to get from here down-town, basically anywhere, from my house.
Rick looks like a couple of Rabbits took your car for a joy ride.
Speed bumps, the normal kind are okay, the big mothers, naw we can't cross them. I have a whopping 3.5 inches of clearance on the front end. The tow hooks take a pounding.
Hmmm
maybe I'll wait with the ride height... |
Well I am sitting below "euro" You don't have to be that extreme.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1258730061.jpgCristine sitting on 15s, she's at Euro ride height
ah, the famous purple people eater!
Hard to judge the height on that thing with those flares. you gonna painte her? So I just ran into a bit of a hiccup on "my" car that's at PPI. an estimate of $4400 to fix what was supposed to be "a few dings, less than $1000". But I got two sets of wheels to sweeten the deal. Any idea what a set of Turbo Twist wheels with good rubber is worth? anyone have use for them? |

OK, I just searched for turbo twist wheels on the forum and realised that they are not worth that much! 1500 if I'm lucky. probably more like a grand.

Yeah I'll probably paint her next year. After I run her new motor in.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1258764803.jpg
I'm thinking back to her original color, she'd be more stealthy. Webbster why 4.4K in body work does she need a re paint or is the body damaged. She sure looked nice from her pictures. Sid, yeah the Enchanted circle is a blast.:D:cool: |
I tried carving the Cimmaron canyon in July but Dad's Dodge Megacab diesel just wouldn't take a corner like my 944... :D
They didn't let me drive anymore after that either.... |

You're bringing your 911 to the circle for me to drive dave? Your such a good friend.. ;)
I know my way around a steering wheel Rick.... |
Cristine's not a 911 she's a 930, she can be evil. Not recommended for children.
I wouldn't want to drive a car named Christine... I've read the book. ;)
Yeah she's kind of "X" rated I'd post a picture of her nose art but Z-man would delete it.;):cool:
