It is here in la la land.
I went to a dinner at a swank hotel restaurant last night over in Century City. There was some large event being hosted there, as well. As I left after dinner I noted (how could you not?) that the 4 lanes of the large circular drive were gridlocked with late model upper level luxury cars: Panameras, Rolls, 6- and 7-series Bimmers, S-class Mercedes, etc.

I followed a 997 TurboS cab out of the parking garage across the street from the hotel. Maybe not exotic by LA standards, though.
It was a little funny when I was walking out of the hotel and down the sidewalk by the driveway. A valet stepped out of a Panamera, couldn't spot the owner amongst the gridlock of people and cars, and asked in a loud and slightly exasperated voice: "Whose Porsch is this?!"

Yeah, this sucks. The hospital is really close, but I can't get there right at this moment. Can't drive and it's been raining, so blades are out or I'll be joining her with double broken wrists.
