ah.... well, i think macintosh is a cult and worth about 1/3 of what people pay for them. however, it is for others to decide how to spend their money.

i will be buying an iPad, as soon as the 2nd version is out. there is nothing out there that compares, IMO, in the tablet market.

Not a $600 computer, that's what they thought I should buy... I bought $2200 computer, which I did finance. 0% for a year.

I bought my wife an iPad for Christmas. The 32 gig wif-fi model. She loves it. She even thanked me again for it just last week. She has been downloading books from the library (for free) and has read 6 books since Christmas. She surfs the net and does her email and uses it all the time.

Well, I trust you are smart enough not to start financing stuff you don't really need. So I think you'll be ok. ;-)
