Good morning, gentlemen!
At least Markus knows where he is.
Mornin'
Do I need to call him in the morning? I have his cellular number...
Got his email too actually... |
Maybe not just yet, we don't know what's going on, maybe it's nothing serious.
Or maybe it is and he needs some time to sort stuff out. Too early too worry, IMO. |
I haven't got a favorite F1 driver since MS aged out. Hope I don't lose interest. Got into F1 as Mika Häkkinen was fading and MS was rising. Thought Hamilton was on his way until he turned into the gravel pit to lose the championship. I am very intertained when Kimi speaks, he cracks me up mumbling at the end of every sentence. No driver seems to really stand out right now.
Hmm... Still no Rick.
Good morning guys.
I would have to say Alonzo is the best driver in F1 right now. I am ready for the season to start. |
morning guys. back to rain no more fun and games with snow.
With just a little luck we are done with snow for this winter. I certainly hope so.
We could use some more rain. I would prefer it rain between midnight and 4:30 AM on weekdays. My preferences have never much mattered to mother nature. Will Rogers said it many years ago. "Everyone talks about the weather but no one ever does anything about it" |
weathermen the only paying job where you get to be wrong half the time and lie the other half.......
Morning gents....
ok I have a nipad question. Lets see what the collective brain power has to offer. The wife has a droid cell phone and gets her office email on it but a certain email that she gets with a collection of documents (zipped I think) will not open and she is not able to read them. Will the ipad or the google one for that matter let her?
Off the top of my head, I want to say no. My iPhone will not open lots of attachments...
bummer. she is always looking to find ways to work from a mobil system without having to print paper (kill trees). I might have to see if she can forward it to someone with one and see if they can open it.
She sent me the email and when I click the links it goes and looks for a missing file on my local computer. I think there is more to this as in the doc are loaded to some local system at her work and the email is the way to get to them. Can an ipad do remote computer access? In this case I'd probably have to get a google one as I would be wanting to take control of a pc.
I have not tried VNC on my wifes iPad but I bet it will. I have an app for my iPhone that that I use to VNC to my office computers. It is very slick and easy to use. I could send a zip file to my office Win XP computer and unzip a file and send it back to my iPhone.
I have never tried to unzip a file on my iPhone. |
They are not really a zip. The email she forwarded on to me has a bunch of links in it. When I try to open the link it goes looking on my computer for the files. I think there is more to it than just the email. I wonder if she can take control of her office pc with a pad?
The iPad is running a web browser. If she can access a web site that does not need Flash she should be good to go. If she needs Flash she is SOL with an iPad or Iphone.
not sure if its a flash site or not. will have to talk to her IT guy and see what he can come up with.
