Morning!

Rick V 03-15-2011 01:27 AM

Getting ready for the heavy rains. We are still wet from the flooding last week. I am glad I float and not melt

The $70/year is for an email account @zipbang.com. Not the actual web page. Most of the zipbang.com email accounts are for the spouses of employees of the company I am email administrator for and a few other small companies. I am providing Exchange compatible email with MAPI for Outlook, active sync for mobile devices. It allows users backup/sharing of calendars and contacts. If you lose your smart phone I can send a wipe command for you, and if you change phones the new one will just sync and go with contacts/appointment/email.

The active sync thing syncing calendars and contacts between desktop and smart phones has provided a lot of new subscribers since the iPhone and iPad have gotten more popular.

Several have email accounts for their kids so they can have access to the kids calendars, contacts, and emails through the sharing thing. Would probably make a MINT if I could offer parents the ability to log in and check their kids text messages.

Good morning guys.

Richard's exchange service is really slick. I can share the calendar with my wife's phone. I can just put an upcoming event on the calendar and it shows up on her phone, and her iPad. I sync my iPhone with my office email and computer. I use the home computer for her iToys.

We will never involve her work email with those devices. Any email she does at work is subject to subpoena and a mobile device would be part of that. She could have her devices subpoenaed and seized as evidence. That is unlikely, but possible.

morning guys. is it time to go back to bed yet?

GH85Carrera 03-15-2011 07:10 AM

David, are you well yet?

Get up and get out there and earn your paycheck. Millions of welfare recipients are wanting your tax money.

Porsche-poor 03-15-2011 07:12 AM

at work but not well. have had an ear infection since last friday and the drugs don't seem to be getting the upper hand yet. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

RKDinOKC 03-15-2011 10:23 AM

Oh man, I had an ear infection like that once. Had to go to ER twice to get the junk flushed out. Finally ended up going to a ear nose throat specialist. He rinsed my ear with creosote, then rinsed it again really really well to get ALL the creosote out. Said something about the creosote would keep eating away until my brains were gone. My ear was 100% well by the time I hit the parking lot. It was definitely one of those huge relief moments in my life.

GH85Carrera 03-15-2011 10:27 AM

So it was exposure to creosote that makes you the way you are? :)

yikes. been to the ENT. its been an on going thing since I was 2 (44 now). They flare up for no reason and make life a pain in the #$@. No pain just lots of discomfort. I'll tell the doc about creosote on Friday.

Wow, over forty years of earinfections on and off... That must suck. I'd rather have flu for three weeks than an earinfection for three days. That stuff hurts!
Hopefully Richard's creosote idea will help.

I am now the proud owner of a very nice set of Ruf Speedline wheels. :)
1500 bucks, no centercaps and boy those caps are pricey....

Very good condition, straight and true. One small patch of curbrash (half a pinky nail large) and some swirling in the polished lip. A small dose of TLC and they're as good as new.

as I said no pain, impossible with an ear drum that has a hole in it. JUST A MAJOR PAIN IN THE %$$!!!!!!!!

RKDinOKC 03-15-2011 02:17 PM

Mine was very painful and when I went to ER they were washing out a chunk of stuff the size of my little finger. The whole finger! It was an ordeal that lasted about a 6 week period before the ENT got involved. After talking if over with the ENT we decided it was caused by me starting to wear in-ear hearing protection for my job. Those little foam ear plug things. Ears made too much wax, it stopped them up and started the infection. Now I refuse to use anything but over ear hearing protection or headphones, not even ear buds for iPod. Wireless headphones are so much more convenient anyways.

Porsche-poor 03-15-2011 02:39 PM

smart thinking. never stuff anything in your ears. over the ear much better. I go back to the doc on Friday to see if things are getting better or not. Seems like they are a little. For me is just common every day worry.

Ha ha ha ha. Now the guy wants to give me 5% interest in his .com venture for the zipbang.com domain. Says he does low cost startup .com businesses and would take a couple of years for it to get going. No guarantees.

GH85Carrera 03-15-2011 04:29 PM

Stijn!!

Howdy guys.

I "got" to go to the big game tonight. The school where my wife works is hosting the conference play offs. Our team is champs of the conference.

It is stupid loud in here. The will start in a few minutes.
