something like that...
the statement made was
this time next year, there will be "a" 911

The Vin has to be 25 years old, so i can register it as an old timer.
Other then that, it has to be a coupe, no more Targa's for me.

The end result can be described very basic.
Early look with a 2.8SS like engine.

Don't think it will be a looker, but it sure as hell better be a screamer

slodave 09-28-2009 01:23 PM

Why a 2.8, go bigger!

slodave 09-28-2009 01:25 PM

Come la classe era, Sidney?

svandamme 09-28-2009 01:38 PM

i don't want bigger Dave , i want faster.
Bigger is Slo revving, smaller is Fast revving.

around 250 horses, high revs, light chassis...

I want a screamer, story of my life.

I just bought a new tag for my 1985 Carrera. It has been registered for 25 years. The tag cost me $21.50.

porsche4life 09-28-2009 09:06 PM

I think that applies to anything over 20yrs old Glenn. I had an '04 motorcycle that cost 80 to tag and then I went to an '86 Porsche that costs 21.50

RE:FB

Was that adressed to me Dave?
Then what was the question?

slodave 09-28-2009 09:56 PM

Bent u op FB? :)

Geronimo '74 09-28-2009 10:01 PM

No, not really.
Facebook doesn't make any sense if you don't put your real name on it. And that is one thing I try not to do when I'm online, using my real name. I did it maybe once or twice in all those years and still regret it. I prefer to be anonymous, don't like to turn up in a google search.

(when did you ask me that? I must have missed that...sorry)

slodave 09-28-2009 10:04 PM

Fair enough. I manage to still be rather anonymous.

svandamme 09-28-2009 10:08 PM

morning

slodave 09-28-2009 10:10 PM

Stijn, it's still night! Please get it right.

porsche4life 09-28-2009 10:14 PM

Photographing a helmet so I can sell it....

svandamme 09-28-2009 10:27 PM

you ain't turning this on me.
Already told you, we're right, you're wrong, it is now , morning, not night

slodave 09-28-2009 10:28 PM

No, California sets the standard for everything.
