Mom did not prepare Spam at all. Never even thought of taking a can camping while in Boy Scouts. By the time we went on long hikes they had freeze dried stuff that we took.

Do remember one time as part of an ordeal we were each given 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, 2 slices of bread, an orange, a styrofoam cup of milk, a couple of pats of butter, a container of jelly, and two matches. Then put in an area of woods that had been wetted down by a fire truck and told to have at breakfast. Had to build a fire with wet wood and only two matches and cook breakfast with no utensils, only your pocket knife. What fun eh? You couldn't share fires or work together with anyone either. Everyone was spaced apart and kept that way, oh, and we weren't allowed to talk either.

Some of the guys just ate everything raw and didn't even try to make a fire. Most cooked their eggs in the orange peel after cutting them in half and eating the orange out. I wrapped my eggs in wet leaves and put coals over them for about 10 minutes while toasting the bread and bacon with sticks like marshmallows. When I pulled the eggs out they were just like boiled eggs. Don't know what the orange peel poached eggs actually tasted like, but they didn't look good to me. They were kind of hairy with orange pulp. Nobody figured out a way to make or substitute any kind of pan to actually fry the bacon and eggs.

We cheated death again yesterday. The clouds tried to scare us. The client want the photos if it is a safe for us to fly. Some of the clouds were just above us. One was building into a thunderstorm but we got the heck outta Dodge before it did.

Good god it took me forever to get to work today. I had to turn around and try another way even. Seems the stupid people who caused the wreck on I% got the over flow traffic to leave the nice 5 lane (2 north, 2 south and a turn lane) and come up thru my neighborhood which is only two lanes wide. I couldn't even get out of the hood.

If I knew Glen was flying over I'd have to go make a huge sign to ruin the picture.

You could try laying face up necked in your back yard. Since you aren't female, pretty sure that could break the camera.

When was 14 was mowing a yard. They had stockade fences. While walking with the mower you could see thru the stockade fence. There was a very nicely equipped young lady in the back yard next door working on her tan. She was reclining on a chaise lounge with her parts pointed towards the yard I was mowing, AND she was necked as a jay bird. You could see right into the new year. Mowed the heck out of that back yard.

If he can break a camera from that distance by laying face up that is an impressive hydraulic feat!

The bike is ready for numbers!

A human at the 4,000 feet in the air we usually fly is just a funny shape. We can Photoshop the final mosaic easily.

Only on super low altitude projects can humans be picked out and even then they are just tiny. We usually soot a 1/4 of a mile project and bigger. A human is just a tiny part of that.

Few customers want to spend the money for crazy high resolution imagery of the areas we fly. When we were playing around we flew my house with the drone. It was 200 feet up. Then you can identify individuals. We don't use the drone for commercial purposes. it would take a month of flying to cover the areas we cover in a couple of hours.

I will have to put on long pants for the first time in a long time. We are going to a funeral of a local region Porsche club friend. He was a former president of the club and on the board of directors for many years. He was a good guy.

Argh!

Golly computers are fun. The same ol' project we do over and over suddenly developed a 10,000 foot deep pit in the ground according to a program we use. I feel sure I would notice a 10,000 foot deep open pit a few hundred feet across at the surface. What a fudge cluster. I managed to edit the point cloud and fill in the hole that does not exist. Now all if good again. Now I need to figure out what made it happen.

Thursday is back. I guess it has to be here for Friday to show up tomorrow.

Another flight is scheduled and I will be in the sky again this afternoon. I bought the App, ForeFlight yesterday. And I ordered a GPS bridge gizmo that has an antenna that uses suction cups to stick to the window. With that and ForeFlight I can watch for traffic and it has all the sectional charts and weather updates. Next is an iPad Mini with the cell. I don't need the month to month cell plan, but that model comes with a GPS as well. There is an yoke mount attachment that lets me put the Mini on the yoke in front of me or in front of the pilot. It is a perfect size display to show all that information, and not be just too big like a full size iPad. I will have more electronic gizmos than the pilot I have been hiring. He is a great guy, and a pilot instructor. He mostly makes his living as an instructor. I want him to put me at the top of the list so I pay him double his normal rate and for some reason he will put other client off to fly for me. And he does not have to do anything more than fly the airplane. I just don't have the desire to learn to become a pilot. I have too many hobbies, and a mean boss making me work hard.
