The stock market will come back. Assuming your 401K was invested in the market.

So, I re-routed the big cable from the battery to the starter so it no longer runs under the drivers seat. Got everything routed properly and then had to put the cable back in the post clamp. Once that was done all I had to do was tighten the bolt on the post clamp. I should have known it went to easy and broke the 12mm socket trying to get the nut to turn. Now I need a 12mm socket and I am just going to replace the post clamp. They are $5.
Sous vide ad then smoking a tip roast tonight. The weather was too bad yesterday. Got breakfast burritos for my wife for mothers day, her favorite meal. Then made burgers for supper. Richard, if you can get unemployment for the few months your 401k should come back pretty good by then.

Talked to a financial advisor and we called my 401K company. The 401K numbers was from a quartery report that goes to 4-30. It was down by 23% since covid started. Has come back 10% since then.

At one of the 928 gatherings one of the 928 owner's family owned and managed Crescent Tools. He gave me a 200pcs set of Crescent tools in a nice plastic case. All kinds of sockets, wrenchs, etc. in both english and metric. All good quality tools. The funniest thing was I grew up with adjustable wrenchs (knuckle busters) that were Cresent. Thought adjustable wrenches were called crescent wrenches. The adjustable wrenches in the Crescent tool set were the ONLY two things in the set that did NOT have the "Crescent" name on them! He had no idea.

The old original quality adjustable wrenches were indeed Crescent brand wrenches. Then every cheap knock off came on the market and they had to protect the trademark.
I have some real Crescent wrenches, some that were my dad's and some I bought new. I did get the yard mowed today one more time. It was almost cold out there. 58 degrees and a breeze in shorts and a t-shirt was nippy at first. By the time I finished it felt great. We have been way below normal temperature for a while. That is great in June or July, but I am ready for spring to come back!

During more than 10 years of working from home my internet has only gone down once. It was for 1/2 a day, and it was this year!
Felt lost, couldn't even watch streaming TV stuff. Mobile phone kept connecting to wifi did not work until I turned the phone's wifi off.

Mrs Carrera rousted me from bed early and said no breakfast. We had to make a bonsai run to Sam's for more fruit and supplies. They do have Clorox in stock now, but they are in a box with 3 one gallon bottles. We dis not need Clorox, but we are stocked with fruit again. We did not check on the TP aisle as we are stocked on that as well.
Tuesdays and Thursdays are still the "geezer day" with early opening for geezers only and they supposedly sanitize the entire store right before opening. It did sprinkle a bit so I pouted and whined about getting my car dirty, but it ain't too bad. I will clean the windshield and the white paint will hide most of the other dirt.

Yea, Jim is a total slacker recently. I wonder what happened to him. I bet he is on a long cruise!

Or that to. I wish I could sleep in. This next weekend I think I'm on a 5 hours drive to meet the in laws and deliver a pot of trees before they get to big to go in the car.

Long ago when I lived in Hawaii one of the kids in our high school I knew was a senior when I was in 10th grade. One day he showed up in a nice new Camaro. He was known as the pot dealer to most all the kid in school. He had some pictures of his grow operation. He would go into the sugar cane fields, and clear out the sugar cane, plant his stuff, and let the sugar company take care of it. His uncle worked at the sugar company and would tell him to go harvest his stuff before they burned off the fields. Then one day the cops came and arrested him in class.

There are chestnut trees. Not the kind you can eat but the super spiny ones call horse chestnuts. I planted 4 in a pot and all of them took off. The parent tree is huge and probably 15 years old. Yes they are sideways cause the site rotated them......

The PCA regional board meeting has been moved from a restaurant to a Zoom meeting. So I had to download and install Zoom on my laptop. I had to peel off the piece of black tape I keep on the camera. It will be interesting to see how it works out tomorrow evening.

If you don't want to install the client, Zoom can run in the browser.

I have used Go To Meeting before on my regular computer, and that works great to run the other computer and swap info. I just wish it were not so crazy expensive to use it for a business.
I figure with my laptop I can uninstall it if I don't need it anymore.
