She is just pure "mom" mode around her son. She just has to cook and straighten up things.

I don't think my brother can make more than a sandwich on his own. Cooking a meal is way beyond his abilities. He moved away from home, bought a house and never in his life rented. He moved in his then girlfriend, and soon married her. They have been married for 44 years.

My brother in law has been married for 46 years, my parents and both sets of grandparents made it to 50+ years until death did they part. Same for my wife's parents and grandparents.

We are the beginners at only 31 years of marriage.

Two years ahead of you at 33 years. A co-worker asked how long I had been married and determined that she is six years younger than our marriage.

We had a low of high 60s last night. Today a front comes through around noon and possible snow flurries tomorrow.

Thanks guys.

We are in Eureka Springs for Porsche Palooza.

Amazing turnout. The 918 is back, as is a ton of other cars. All driven! No concours cars that never get driven.

Stijn!!

The roads were dry, so no salt.

There was a new 911 GT2RS parked close to me at the show and shine car show. No one paid much attention with a Carrera GT and a 918 at the same show. Dozens of GT3s and other high end 911s.

The parade through downtown Eureka Springs was cool. Lots and lots of people waving and along the streets.

Yea, Eureka Springs is a cool little town. The have no traffic lights at all, just a few stop signs. The NEED to convert some intersections to a traffic circle. Very hilly, and very antique. It is hard on a throw out bearing and clutch to go through downtown.

Tons of old time tourist "gift shops" and bars. You can buy all sorts of nick knacks. So far in my life I have not needed a knick or a knack or a neat wooden carved thing. I had to drop my wife off at a yarn shop. I had to park at the closest spot 1/4 mile away by the Carnegie Library. She sent me a text to come get her.

Well that was the most interesting drive I've ever done. I went to downtown LA to pick up my daughter and her friend after a concert tonight. And it wasn't even the ridiculous traffic there.

But on the highway there, I saw a car moving slowly (50 mph?) In the slow lane with his hazards on. As I passed him, I saw why. His front end bodywork was smushed up against the front tires and/or dragging on the ground. There were no headlights. And rhe hood was wrapped up over the windshield.

Then after picking up the girls, I was again on the highway. Slow lane.
And some dude was walking on the shoulder of the freeway. At 11:00 at night. As I came up upon him, he started walking directly into my lane of traffic. So I honked, braked, and swerved, and he spun and tried to donkey kick my car.

Nuts.

From San Diego we have to drive through LA to get to most the race tracks.
We leave at 3am so we reach the grapevine on 5 north at 6am just to miss the LA morning traffic.

Slicks stored till the February race at the Podium club in Arizona.
Trying to save the slicks so they hopefully last at least 8 heat cycles.
An old chair base makes a nice tire dolly.
