Well today we managed to collect enough ball bearings for our redneck Claymore.

just test-showered my shower
it was wet, as one would expect.
But not in my kitchen, as one would fear knowing i built a shower above it.

yeah, i'll need to tweak things a bit more, couple of grouts were done to hastily and i'll have to cut em out, not much, maybe 4 spots of 3 inches at most.

Then i gotta close up the ceiling, as it's now open to the attic, must prevent vapor going up there. and some kind of floor deal, it's MDF board now, that's no good with water..
Just for now, for testing i used them big 60x60 tiles just outside the shower.
Won't use it permanently yet, want to finish things up first...

I saw Glen Plake today! Not the first time, but this time I got a picture with him and was able to chat on camera with him for a few minutes, while he was with a film crew.

hah! love the porsche badge at the front license plate.

sleep well.

that said, selling a vehicle you enjoy is tough. it took me three years to come around to selling my triumph. in the end, it was the best thing.

Stijn,

Oil line is off, just the tranny ground strap remains, fan and shroud, but otherwise, I'm ready for the drop.
To get the rear higher, I'll remove the wooden blocks under the front suspension nail them together so they make a solid base and put them under the jackstands in the rear. This should be good for another 10cm (thats about 4 inches for you Americans... )
Oil absorbing rags should be present on Firday as well so no kitty litter stuff.

I dunno, oil absorbing rags are especially made for this pupose, we even have stuff that looks like kitty litter box pellets which is espacially made for absorbing oil....
Either way, I'll make sure that I have what we need. ( I hope... )
