Ok guys it is absolutely friggin GORGEOUS today.... Trying to decided which route to take home... Leaning towards the one by the golf course.... That always pisses those guys off.... But there is a set of REALLY nice technical curves.....

the keep driving part is obvious... it's not like anyone can unflash them flashing thingies once they flashed...

hell, if anything, once flashed, one should take advantage of the fact that you can only get fined once on the same travel... double jeopardy and all that stuff... just gotta make sure i don't get flashed going faster then the first flash

See, something to mitigate the bad mood already.
Keep up, Sid.
Don't stress out.

weird, i got a notification of a consigned package/letter sent to me

from
CA
EMC
1934 EMC Brucargo

to my home adress, listing my name, and company name.

I never list my home adress for anything business related.
Nor was i expecting any packages, internationally no less.(brucargo is Brussels Airport Cargo handling)

and the annoying part is... i can only go an collect it on monday..

Don't count on it.
If you don't believe me, test it.
Go from one camera to the next, get flashed twice, pay twice.

i actually did test it once...

got two tickets, made 2 copies of both, sent both senders 1 copy of each with message , same trajectory...

the lesser one of the two got thrown out...
It's been 7-8 years though, not sure if it would still work

more 911 parts would be lovely... but i can't imagine who would be so kind to give me free parts, and bother to ship em out...
also, there was no customs declaration... so whatever it is, it can't be to big or valuable...

And Sid... a radar detector, if caught, could get the car impounded.. i doubt they ever take it that far, usually a 250 euro fine and they take the detector off your hands... but if you repeat offend, they can take the car if they want...

unmarked cars.... this one surprised me because it was a parked old Mercedes cosworth looking kind of car.. usually they have new, bland cars.. like Opel or Renault...

I had gone off the gas when i saw it parked, it looked out of place... though near a house...
But when i saw it was an older Merc, i figured it wasn't the Po-Po.. and didn't slam on the brakes

Had 110 on the clock when the flash went off, in a 90... after correction, i think i'll be getting a 100 in a 90.... 50 bucks off my Porsche budget... bastards..

only thing i can think off, is that some overachiever figured he'de take the gatso and tripod and go in his personal car...
Didn't go back to check, but if i ever see that black merc again at night, i'll go write down his number plate... not that i will do anything with it... but that should make him think twice about using his personal car...

We have some pretty sneaky undercover cars around here.

Several SUVs and a few pickup trucks. I was right next to a white pickup truck when someone cut across three lanes of traffic and blasted down the road. The pickup had flashing lights all over it hidden behind the grill and taillights.

We don't have any photo radar at all.

You can't let anything get to you at this point. You are in college. Its basically a fantasy camp. As busy as I ever get, I still find time to get hammered 2 or 3 times a week and spend tons of time with my friend. Let the stress be like a water off of a duck's back. There will be plenty of time for stress later.

Look, you're still early on too. I have no job yet and 3 months I have no idea where I will be headed or where I will be living, but life is just too good to really care at this point. Live it up, because you only get to do this once.

Garrett I try to live it up... Just all the Chemisty is kicking my ass....

So I just spent 2hrs at the car wash.... Was sitting in the VW waiting for a bay when a Black 987 with Texas plates rolls up... So I got out and talked to the guy... Real nice guy.... On his way home from Amarillo and wanted to get the road crap off the car.... Talked to him about the PCA and autocross... Gave him my # and told him to call me if he ever needed help when he's in the area or to get PCA info.
