can't sleep, watching Macgyver: Trail to Doomsday. the last Macgyver made for tv movie.
I think I've seen this six times now since 1994.

Funny. I remember seeing that show too, some 15 years ago. The song is still stuck in my head.
Di di di di di di di di diiiiiiiii dii dii dii etc..

We're supposed to see thunderstorms here in the afternoon. But until then, good morning.

Hey Rick, we got your back.
I remember playing the same song on the 8 track player in my 914 in 1975. My girlfriend was cheating on me so we broke up. It seems so trivial now but it sure hurt back then. That is no comparison to your current problems. We feel for ya. When you are ready come back to your friends here so we can abuse and misuse you. That is our job!

no, you don't need them. putting the belts on these cars is not voodoo. i use the finger method, and have done so several times. i have also used the p9201. i was within spec when checked against the tool. my current 944 has the "auto tensioner" (which is not automatic) and it specs out perfectly against the p9201.
that said, if you want more peace of mind, use the proper tool. check the idlers and such for play. if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask.

Holy crap it's been a busy day. I've been working, trying to do school work in advance and trying to not have a stroke over the cost of a last minute airline ticket

hey, sid, i just saw your other post on the technical side of the forum. if you are doing the waterpump and need the back side of the belt housing off, etc., i definitely recommend a flywheel lock. Home Page has a great one that is cheap. if you will pay shipping, i can send mine out, along with the special spanner for the eccentric adjusters and my krikit tool (which works just fine).

Sid I also recommend Bruce Arnn's tools. He lives outside the STL area and I've met him before. Really nice guy and a true enthusiast.

It is a well known fact that Jon Arbuckle cannot actually hear what Garfield is thinking. So take out all of Garfield's thought bubbles in the comics. Now all you have is a deeply psychotic man who lives alone and talks to his animals.
Food for thought.
