I got an email from Melanie at Ruf.
Centercaps for my wheels are still available and cost 190 bucks plus shipping for a set of four...
That's a hellovulot cheaper than 300 plus shipping that I got offered from a guy here on the board....
Money out the door.....

Saw a Robin Red Breast and several Cardinals last week. Looks like spring to me here.

Oh, and, good afternoon.

Did the disassembly myself, still need to clean most of the parts.... (I hate cleaning parts)

I was planning on doing the rebuild myself but I don't reall want to be practicing my mechanical capabilities on my own engine.... So I'm having it done. This way I will have warranty on the build too...
Parts are scattered in my garage, some are already at my mechanic.
Gearbox is already rebuild.
Still looking for a good set of SSI's, customs sent my MK muffler back to the states. (don't ask me why, they don't even know it themselves....)
The guy I bought it from is gonna send it back though. at my expense of course.

That will be a well traveled muffler when you finally get it.

Have been going off on an oil buying spree this past week for the 4 vehicles (they're all due for changes soon). I think I've picked up about 64 quarts. Now I've got to find a place to stash it all in the garage.

Oil sure makes a Huge difference in my GTS. Pretty much settling on Amsoil. The difference is when doing a lot of hard acceleration like at the autocross. Amsoil is the only oil that keeps the engine temps from rising and the idle oil pressure from dropping from 3 barr to 2 barr. As far as I can tell it is because it resists foaming and aeration.
