Spring break around these parts was last week. The local schools and colleges all do it at the same time.

We fly one of the local college campuses about once a year. They always want it during spring break or when the kids are not in class. They can see the layout of the parking lots and all the sidewalks.

for some strange reason its always the last week of March first week of April. To make matters worse two kids, two schools, different weeks.

Each will get a 1/2 week extra so that we can take a trip.

That is why the local schools all agreed on the same week.

Don't know what the public schools have going here. The different districts do diff things and the private schools pick one of the public disttricts to follow. So basically no one is on the same page.

So the schools all have the "not invented here" syndrome.

No cooperation, no communication, "we have always done it that way, and we don't know why we do it that way we just do"

No problems here, that I know of anyways... Just testing to show what is normal flora, and to see if anyone has any UTI. Basically we are just practicing for working in a hospital lab...

Where I work I sometimes think they require genetic, IQ, and psychological testing, but they aren't looking for minimum standards. The term Bible Thumping Sheep comes to mind.

They do require pee samples for drug testing for hiring, even for temps. They also do random lottery style drug testing, but you don't win anything.

Def not drug testing. We cultured the samples ourselves.

Good. The only time we have testing is on employment and after an industrial accident.

We did the accident thing for a while, and still require it. They used to randomly pick a day and test everyone, now they randomly pick a day but only test 20% of the work force picked at random.

Sid, I was under the impression a healthy person's urine is sterile. If it has bacteria how can it be sterile?

I even heard that it can't be tested for DNA if you don't have an infection.
