two lines right? one from the pump one returns to the pump I bet the return line is plugged. if the pop off went and the case blew out that would be my guess. But I am not a hydr engineer and don't play one on tv either.

Yeah, hope he's not nuts.... Dad was a lawyer, did no good. Police won't do anything. We had a meeting a few summers ago with all the other neighbors, including a D.A., nothing could be done. The property has two trees that could fall on my parents house/property. Lawyer type letters have been sent. Another one is going soon, this time with a letter from an arborist as well.

I hope it all turns out for the best.

me to at this point he's just being a jerk. Caught him dumping grass clippings down the hill. I went out and asked him if he knew that was my lot and his response was do something about the blackberries and I'll stop dumping. Well it don't work that way. My lot is my lot not yours. We were plannign to get rid of the blackberries and today while the wife was home showing a potential removal service the lot he runs out and says make sure you get the ones at the bottom. He's a jerk.

Odd that the line would get plugged, the system had been in use for about 4hrs to that point that week without being opened to the outside, and it has a big filter on it too.

My bet is on something failing inside the tamper, and not making it through the on/off valve...

Morning guys, have 3 days off and we are going to relax. Beth and I may head to the mountains, and yes sleep in a tent. We love camping.

I got a HP mini PC for my b-day from my best friend. He had a brand new one lying around znd he gave it to me. Awesome, although not too fast with windows7 on it. I may change that later on. But still, great gift.

Tonight is party time. Isabelle ain't coming, Don't really know if it's gonna work out or not.
It would be a shame of course. But I'm a big boy, I'll manage. I may have to return to full G mode....

We'll see, I'm gonna have a great time nonetheless.

You guys behave while I'm away, you hear.

Those little netbooks won't set the world on fire with any OS, but they are pretty handy...

Have fun G, try not to catch anything.

I went by the Sears tool Dept. to get a replacement for the 10 mm wrench that vanished last weekend. That little sucker cost me 123 bucks! There were some other tools that needed me to take them home. Some neat double action needle nose pliers, a new multi tip screwdriver and several different screw & bolt extractors. I seem to always need extractors.

It was a special package deal, buy one 10mm open end & box wrench get all the other things for FREE. That's my story and I am sticking to it.

Yup, remove the oil pan, clean everything, reseal and reinstall. Don't forget to replace all the oil you lost and a filter wouldn't hurt either, and don't forget to schedule the alignment you are going to need after reinstalling the front subframe.

Is that a one or two hour job?

It sure makes me happy I have a 911. I don't even have an oil pan or water pump to leak. I have heard rumors that some 911s have a couple of places that might leak but never an oil pan or water pump.

The exact same thing happened to me at the liquor store. I went in for a bottle of scotch and it cost me $300, but they gave me a few bottles of wine, vodka and tequila for free. Weirdest sale ever...............

Replaced the heater cables today (to the flapper boxes) hope i don't have to do that again any time soon. Driver side one was broken and frozen inside the line that runs from the chassis to the box. Finally got it yanked out and had to drill into the end of the line in order to clean out the crud. Shot some brake clean through it and pumped them both full of grease.
Yeah i know....wrong time of year for heat but one less thing to do this winter.

Well you did ask. Seriously, there is no cure for a leak other than a repair.
