in that case it might be smarter to buy the correct number of already cut 1x4x30 slats and flip a few and glue them together so its wide enough to form a neck and head stock with out the "wings" added. those had me worried as being a point to break off.

The wings won't break off - ever. In the end, you want them.

i wonder if we are talking two diff things. wings would not have to be added to a one piece head stock the stock would be formed from the oversized glued up billet no?

headed to bed. I'll work up a sketch of what I think the correct number of slats would be on Tuesday and post it here if I can.

Night and thanks for the help.

Tired and frustrated. Amp is very quiet. Not sure what's up. Time to sleep.

Good afternoon, gents!

Oh dear, I am not representative today. Me and my girlfriend went to a provincial big barn party celebrating a local guy hitting 50. There must have been almost 120 people there. Band playing. A lot of food and copious amounts of all kind of drinks imaginable. Everything free. Started at 5.30 pm and we didnīt leave until 1.30 am. 8 hours straight eating, drinking and dancing. The band played mostly foxtrot and waltz and I am a complete newbie - but within a few hours of raising blood poisoning I felt like Travolta and made a great success on the dance floor.

Woke up at 10 am when my friend decided we should go to a local flower show. Suffice it to say I came very near a new success, almost puked in the Gardenias.

So, how have all of you been?

Stijn!!

Howdy Markus.

Doing great in Oklahoma. The heat is gone! We can go outside and not sweat.

It really boggles the mind to thing how much energy it takes to cool the entire area. Mama nature is amazing.
