Woodstock \wo(o)-dsto-ck, wood(s)-tock\ as a boy's name is of Old English origin, and the meaning of Woodstock is "wooden fence". Also the name of the rock festival of the 1970s, which is popular even now.

Probably just alcohol. He was a cocky little bastard in HS and was bad about playing steriods and was a classic case of Roid rage. Had authority issues too. Get him drunk and in front of a cop, well.... You get the picture...
