Was hoping you were in a good mood. Guess not. I'll go back to work now.

yep, it is getting fun with the mirror seller. now he is telling me that car companies make parts for each other. like NISSAN makes parts for subaru. GMFB.

i did a little research. this is a mirror for a nissan pathfinder 97 - 03 and also fits the same years infiniti QX4.

i did a bit more research. i may have to eat crow.

yep, crow for dinner. it is a forester mirror, just the heated version. of course it still doesn't help me, being that the housing is broken. he is saying that the breakage is not his problem because someone must have dropped it!!! LOL! it is being shipped, man, of course its been dropped, and thrown, and kicked.

ah, well, i have another one on it's way. live and learn. maybe someone needs the glass and/or motor inside of it. it really is useless to me with a broken housing. if the housing wasn't broken, i'd probably just mount the thing and call it a day.

I got it, simply remove both outside mirrors for better wind resistance and thus more fuel savings, and it is easier to maintain as well, and cheaper to boot.

Found it. Server must have restarted or was restarted and the firewall script was not run. Partially my fault... I had commented it out from a startup script in Linux when I was troubleshooting another issue a month ago. Damn could have fixed this from home.

Stijn!!

Good evening fellas.

I will head off to bed and contemplate the meaning of "it's" and all that wisdom.

I hope I can sleep with all that thinking.
