I'm your height, with back problems, and I manage it...

Ever noticed when karting, thinking ends and the brain goes on auto mode.
Like when playing music or painting.
When you snap out of it you have lost all sense of time.
No kidding, a 20min stint in a fast kart is way more work than a whole day of autocross...

OK, Sid.
Next weekend ,I am doing a run in the twisty roads in the hills with a track preped 944.
This bloke sounds confident he has me covered.
I will let you know how it ends up.

I hope for his sake there are no straights more than ten meters long.

You'll be surprised at the 944 I bet. They move damn quick around a corner, and are no slouch in the straights with all the fat cut out...

I know, I have driven one.
The 944 is a great car.
Can it stay with the old 930?
Thats the question.
I hear the guy driving it is bloody quick.
But can he hang with the short man in the turbo?
We are in his home, small twisty roads.

Well, How massaged is the motor? If its track prepped it could be pushing big HP numbers....

This stuff by itself is enough....kinda like the general sense of well-being from 4-5 glasses of scotch without all the other issues...

I will not be there either. I really plan to get the Elky running. It will happen tomorrow. I would like to drive it and break it in on roads without ice.

nope. not even if it is a 951. given equal skill from the drivers, the 930 has the 951 beaten, hands down. more horsepower and better balance.

good night guys. its been a day.

hhi, be careful, man.

he didn't say what it was....

it would have to be a hell of a 944 to beat a 930 with the mods that vas has listed. think about it.

the original 930's, in stock form, killed a lot of their drivers. why? because the car is wicked powerful. period. there are other factors, but that is the main one.

okay. i am really going to bed now.

Oh, I don't think it will beat him, I'm just making sure vas isn't disappointed if he can't walk off and leave the 944...
