No it wasn't anything as eloquent as those options, it was more like his kidneys are not as hard as my knees, his ribs stand no chance against the 3/4inch thick knotty pine in my den and his chest compresses against my oak hardwood floor. Naturally he needed assistance during his little experiments.

Good morning guys.

Richard, I am sure Michael would have given you a good run if he had not ripped a hole in his radiator hose. One reason I just don't push real hard is I don't want to leave on a tow truck. In the 35 years I have been autocrossing I have never broken my car. I have worn out a lot of tires and brakes but I always drove home without a problem.

I also noticed that after Michael paid for a clutch job on his 2001 Turbo he launches without a clutch dump like he used to. He has a nice normal takeoff now. He learned an expensive lesson.

Michael didn't just rip a hole in a radiator hose, he broke the nipple off the tank. I have had a few close calls, but the only time I've had to tow my car away from the track was when the boxster spun a bearing. Porsche determined the damage wasn't anything driver caused and replaced the motor.

I was being very careful on my runs as there were several corners with damaging run off areas. I wish they would let us come fix those dangerous low shoulders!!!

I also did NOT like Matt using those tall cones. In fact, I would like to petition the board to get a whole bunch of the really small cones like we used to have. I get cone marks on my car and I never used to.

We bought a bunch of the really short cones. Brian sent me a link and I ordered them. They are like 6 or 8 inches tall and kinda cute.

The problem with using a tractor is the first time it rains the ruts come back. I think it needs to be done with one of them compactors. Maybe even do it like a pot hole and put gravel in the bottom, compact, then dirt and compact some more.

Seem to remember Brian sent them back and got bigger ones because Sheriff's wanted bigger ones. I don't see a problem stocking up on cones just for us too.

I also think we should implement some sort of plan to keep the ruts filled as they happen. Maybe a check and fill when setting up the course the day before.

Wasn't going to compact anything with the tractor. I can move more dirt with a tractor than you can with a shovel.
