Went to the Planes of Fame Museum in Chino today for a little show. Not technically an airshow so no low passes allowed, by they did fly a replica FW-190 and had two WW2 Luftwaffe veterans who flew FW-190s, Me-109s, M2-262s, and the unusual He-162.
    Pratt+Whitney powered, rather than the original, more advanced BMW radial so performance was compromised some. Here is the He-162, arframe and wings made out of wood due to the scarcity of metals in the end days of the war.

Wow, nice pics! It's amazing what those crazy nazis were cooking up.
Oh yeah, the headphones. Sound quality is excellent, the programability is a little buggy, but functional. Comfort is awesome, they come with several interchangeable tips.... |
