Didn't "Do" anything to cause the cam gear to break off. Most mechanics agreed that part of the adjuster cracked and eventually loosened to failure and break on it's own and have seen 5 do this. Just lucky I guess. Funny that Mike Dumont told me he thought it was a casting defect when I first told him what happened.

Between here and Facebook. I'm sure there will be enough entertainment. You can't keep your emotions all bottled up.

Don't know why, but watched speed channel show on the new Boss 302. Interesting it has two keys. One for street and one for track. When you use the track key, it lopes at idle like it's got a hot cam.

Hey D! Is that your first ink? Looks good. Don't forget to keep it covered with neosporin as it heals.

New Ink? Whats the meaning of the 9?
glad to hear things are worked out. that is always a nice feeling. it is also nice to know that things CAN be patched up. this is important in the future. trust me.

yes, new ink. nine lives. and other stuff. google permutations of the number nine.

Nah, pour bleach on it! Helps keep it from getting infected......hehe

Im going gecko hunting. The shop that has my car determined that instead of removing the seats and replacing the seat sensors from the bottom, they would just take the leather off, replace the sensor from the top and have the seats reupholstered. Im thinking they didn't read the part in the book where the harness for those sensors typically fails when they trip......morons.

Hehe, just got a heads up that TEB got kicked out of one of the nicest bars on island. Seems she got drunk and made no secret of the fact she wanted someone to take her home. I hate to see her self-destruct, but it amuses ne to know that her life after me is less than stellar

Thought 7 was supposed to be the perfect number.

I've always been fond of 4. It was a good year for me.

4 is a good number, but so is 6. 4 wheels on a car, 4 cylinders in a 4 cam Carrera, but 6 cylinders in a 911 engine.

That's the year the first 901s came out. Good year. Not as good as 1970, 71 or 73 in Porsche racing, but still good.
