Haven't seen Vas post in a while. I guess he is enjoying time with his GF, maybe out in the bush for some alone time.

I got my front suspension program refined more this weekend with better measurements. Also made progress on some other engineering projects I have going. And got some nice bike rides in the Santa Monica Mountains. So a good weekend.

I am still figuring out tire pressures for the 911. Yokohama Advan A048s. 205-55-16 and 225-50-16 on 16x7 and 8 Fuchs. The rear we are running 29 psi hot and the front started at 24 then went up to 25.5. We had added air to the front before the test drive
but I noticed understeer. I am not sure if it is due to the new rear tires (so more grip back there than the cords) or the front tire pressures being too high. They were 18 cold before and felt fine. Not sure where to go from here. I had to clearance (with a file/rasp) the corners of the bumper because the outside shoulders of the tires were just barely kissing them when loaded in a turn with just the right amount of steering angle dialed in. So that was distracting me. Even with 22/27 torsion bars, 22mm front and rear anti-roll bars, and a lightened car, it still rolls too much in turns. Or maybe we are going too fast.

I will be signing off Pelican for the night now.

You realize that you'll never get them "hot" with these temps on canyon roads.

Your tires need to get up to at least 140* to be up to proper temps. Your "hot" pressures are too low.

yo Markus. How's the weather like over there? days getting longer? sun?
We got plenty of sun today..

Just finished my conclusion/response on the negative advice by the DA regarding my dad's abscence and request to declare him absent and have a notary assigned.

Had 2 pages first, but then fine tuned it to one , clearer page.. gonna drop it off at the court clerk tomorrow.
Even used some legal latin terminology in there, just making sure they know i'm not about to back down at the first sign of resistance.

Well so do i, but i look at this in a pragmatic way :

- No way am i paying 500 bucks for a letter
- No way am i paying more then that, to get a lawyer to go over the case, because quite frankly, there's a good chance that nothing comes out of it, even if i do get the court to agree.. I have no information as to the amount of debt,or value of his property or belongings.
I'm only doing the minimum effort in case he either returns, in whatever state he does, or ends up permanently MIA.

Secondly, i payed 52 euro
And now i get to play junior legal eagle

Most have to study for several years to get to this stage.
I find that notion highly entertaining and good value for money.
If it doesn't work out, i can say with confidence that i did my best
If it does i can say i exceeded everybodies expectations (everybody told me i better get a lawyer)...

evening Gents!

another long weekend over, back to work tomorrow, bummer!

I see that it is sunny, snowing, windy, raining, cold, hot, warm, somewhere in the world over the last few pages of rants.

If we have another thunderstorm, I am going to scream, drove home in one today from the Farm and I had the wipers going a million miles an hour (slight exaggeration, but, poetic license... what can I say), I was doing 20 klms an hour on the highway, with the hazard lights on, and so was the car in front of me, couldn't see a thing but no where to pull over either, then a bloody huge truck passed me, and nearly blew me off the road with the wash. Very Very Very scarry.

Then drove out of it, and by the time I got home, about 30klms, it was as dry as.

We are having a thunderstorm every afternoon early evening, its like living in the tropics.
