only get to play in a gun club, your weapons have to stay at the gun club, and they are pretty tame stuff, nothing automatic, or semi automatic, no military style stuff.

Farmers and the like can get a license to keep their firearm at home, for killing feral animals, but even they are very strictly regulated, and you get checked up on all the time.

always used to amaze me back in France where the men travelling to or from work in their cars, would stop at the side of the road, get out brandishing their firearm and wander off into a paddock during hunting season, and just go shoot something. Which means their weapon and the bolt and ammo were all stored in their car together, a big big no no her in oz. They would lock you up for that.

but i'm not really looking for go faster parts.

Just need some basic, m14 specific acessories

Sights protector for when i store it

extra mags

Ruptured Case (Broken Shell) Extractor, .308/7.62

The best m14 scope mount there is :

you know, the basic stuff.

Azzarule, Where in France did you live?
French rules on guns is in some respects less strict, eg, you can get light caliber guns easier.. hunting stuff the same.

But military calibers are all banned. (but obviously , you just call it .308 winchester instead of 7.62x61 nato and let's not worry to much about it )

sweeeeeeet,

I would go back there in a minute, if I could afford it, was on a defence posting, but sadly good things don't last forever, had to come home.

Hoping for USA next.

Here in the land of the free we can own all sorts of fun guns.

This guy takes it to the extreme. This is all legal.

This Texas feral hog shooting chopper video (LOACH on the job) is fascinating. The pilot has a fixed rifle with optics rigged back to his helmet and eye-piece. He doesn't miss and his scout-chopper flying skills are down pat with the hogs behavior and pack or group running style. This came from Greg Cooper who has a huge ranch SE of Brownfield, Texas... south of Lubbock. I don't know where the chopper hog hunting op is but it is clearly West Texas. I don't see them dropping flags or stakes from the air to ground-mark their kills so as to go find them easily but I assume they "know" the country or wait for the turkey buzzards to tip them off. The pilot is really good!

Good morning folks.

Markus, I like that last video. I dated a few women like that. I dumped them quickly.
