True, it is winter, and I wasn't really going that fast. But they were at "operating temperature" for the winter. So I want the pressures at that temperature to be correct. Then when summer comes along I will re-adjust.

You sure? These are not race tires, just DOT-R compounds. The fronts are medium compound, rears are medium hard.

All the reports I heard from the track and autocross guys were that the A048s don't like too much pressure. Above 30 they reported them beign greasy. Some Lotus used 27/29 hot at the track.

Now that I think I have the clearance problem fixed I will try to scrub in the rear tires and if the understeer is still there I will drop the front tire pressures since I did not have understeer with the much lower pressures. And I will watch the tire wear to see if the rears have too much pressure. I think I was running them right about 28 or 29 warm before and the wear pattern was good. The shoulders are still there since I am not racing or autocrossing it, but the scrub goes to the little triangle marker.

Yup, live on hhi, bit find myself in savannah 2-4 times per week.

That is a fairly long drive from what I remember from last summer. The traffic was nucking futz.

I usually make it in about 40 minutes. Traffic in savannah always sucks, traffic on the island is just insane during the season.
Waiting on the adjuster to show up.

I just hate slow moving traffic. I love my commute to work. Most days it is 12 minutes. Some days I can drive for three or four miles before I see any other cars at all. It is rare to see more than a handful of cars for the first few miles.

The only place I see much traffic on the highway just past the exit where I get off. The traffic on past my exit sucks but I don't ever have to go that far.

I find most folks like that can't really tell time. Punctuality is not a word in their vocabulary.

Glen, there is an IMAA club that has a flying field near Lazy E Arena. IMAA or International Miniature Aircraft Association requires your R/C plane be minimum of 1/4 scale, or 6 ft wingspan. They have a fly-in where guys from all over come and fly their planes. It's great fun to go watch, check out the planes, and they gots good burgers.

Quit R/C planes about the time they just started making miniature jet turbines. Flew R/C planes for the adrenaline from the concentration. The Kirkpatrick turnpike killed the one good place in this area to fly R/C. Traded to autocross from r/c flying for my adrenaline fix.

From the size of those planes and watching some of the landings I bet autocross is cheaper!

The "normal" R/C planes weren't that expensive. After about 5 years of not flying, I sold all my R/C planes, radios, and motors for $1000 to the local hobby shop. It was enough stuff to fill a minvan including the passenger seat.

When you go to the IMAA sized planes the bigger kits, servos, and motors are a LOT more expensive.
