This was an ambiguous sentence.

What I meant, was that because it's not factory, one of the air horns was mounted so it points inside the car. That's the one that gets me. I'm not going to mention where the other is, but it's exterior and the two horns that normally are tripped at the steering wheel are in the normal location. It's a keypad alarm, so I do like it. You can't scan for the code and it's old enough that most modern thieves probably have no clue where to start.

As for key chains, I have three. One holds all the 911 keys, one holds the Toyota keys, though the main key broke and can't be attached, so it's separate and one with the house and mail keys.

The fix for your 930 is to have the turbo reworked not the transmission. Get the turbines lightened and rebalanced. It will spool up much quicker, this not only reduces lag, but it widens the power band on the lower end of the rpm range.

The previous owner of my 944 Turbo had replaced the K26/8 with a K27/8 that he had lightened. Even though the K27 is a size bigger, it came on at 3000 rpm like the stock K26 giving it a useable power band from 3500rpm to red line @ 7000rpm at 17psi of boost. That's a 3500rpm power band to work with!

No Stick.
The solution is the gears.
I have that same power band.
Even the guys with the latest garett bb turbos do this mod.

Its up to you what you want.
1bar is a safe range for a road/track car.

Well, I've owned 4-5 speed, and 1-6 speed Porsches. 2 944 Turbos, 2 928s and a Boxster S. Surprisingly the red line shift point mph for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd were the same in all of them.

I stupidly swapped my lightened K27/8 for the latest BB turbo that was supposed to have a wider power band and spool quicker. It sucked. Despite their compressor maps and "quick spool", etc. it didn't come on till 4500rpm, very peaky. With the lightened K27/8 the car was much quicker and had a much wider power band.

Yes, but you have not had a 930.
The gears are very long and so are the spacing.
Every good turbo racer knows its the best upgrade you can make.
You will have to take my word for it.
