I'm still barely noticing feet.....I'm seeing a nice, firm rear, the side of what promises to be a spectacular boob and a very GND almost innocent face........yummy.....

hey max (and dudes and dudette)...weather up here has been nice. today, it was in the 30's at 0530 when i went to work...got up to the high 70's today. the last VARA race was cold...but i just parked my car up at the budweiser pavillion and watched from there.

i happened to look at the 15 day outlook at work today...supposed to be mid 70's and sunny (of course) on the 18th. there will probably be wind.

That windchill can be brutal. The past times I was there it was great out of the wind. Air temp was fine, and the sun did help with some radiant heating, but I really need a windbreaker. My fleece Flying Lizard jacket lets the wind in (which is nice sometimes- it breathes).

yeah...the outside temp wasnt bad. it was in the 60's. but the 30-40 mph wind sucked. i had my driver window open during the races, and it was fine, temp wise. it'll be warmer.

the windchill still isn't that bad here....somewhere i have a screenshot from weather.com when the windchill was -50 something back home.

Of course, I toughed it out for 6 hours or so at each of those events, standing back to the wind trying not to be blown around too much and not to shiver too much so that my slow shutter speed shots would come out.

I got a few new (old) songs today. Some more Jefferson Airplane, "Light Flight" by Pentangle, and "For Your Love" by the Yardbirds, and that "Journey to the Center of the Mind" by the Amboy Dukes.

Woot woot! Almost done with chapter 6. Two sections down, one to go. Time for a break to fix my rollerblades. Then, home to do laundry, make dinner with organic veggies from my garden and review these two sections and finish the last section. If time permits, I'll fire up the test program on my laptop and take a test on chapter 6 - weather.

More and more I am getting to love the SLO area. I keep thinking about whether I want to move up here after college. The weather is just one reason. The weather is fine in Thousand Oaks. The scenery is great up here, but TO is close to some nice roads and mountains.

Where I live in TO does not feel crowded but SLO seems less or more so depending on where you are.
