That's a good point. I hadn't considered that.

Speak of the devil...

Uh, I mean hi Tweeze.

Some of the advice seemed to give me the idea that if I don't act on it that she would think I am not interested. Now with this angle I am thrown into a dilemma.

And yeah, paralysis by analysis is not good for an engineer, but I do tend to think things through very thoroughly, especially when I am passionate about/interested in the subject. Which is an understatement in this situation.

at work right, in the break room. FYI: if any of you socal guys decide it's ok to fly a glider at 16-17,000 feet west of Big Bear, Im going to kill you. maybe literally. We had some bozo trolling around in a glider right in the arrival corridor for all of the LAX, SNA, ONT arrivals tonight...right where they need to make a crossing restriction at either FL180 or 17,000 depending or north or south routing. Multiple aircraft had RA's because of this bozo. Ugh.

there is no dilemma. by saying hi and smiling, you ARE ACTING. that is it. the whole secret. done. if she is interested (and, frankly, worth your time), she will make it easy for you to make time for her. get it?

trust me. i used to overthink this stuff. women are complicated. but in this, they are simple creatures.

I've heard stories from someone about having a back seat ride in a glider at El Mirage and the pilot was catching thermals, then decided to trade all the altitude for speed and swooped down to pretty much ground effect on the lake bed, keeping up with some lakebed racer car.

MSL.

I have a full compliment of telemetry in it. Both static and GPS. It also has a video downlink so I can watch from a screen, all my info is overlayed on the screen, like a HUD system.

OK, I get it. It still scares me. I hate being out of control of major events in my life (or what I perceive as major at the time and will come to realize is no big deal later).
