Woodward is in the middle of freaking nowhere, and the entire town resembles a Ghetto....

Weatherford is right on the interstate, and a nice college town....

Big difference....

I have driven through Woodward a couple of times but I don't think I ever got out of the car.

The company I work for now was started in 1947. The first aerial he shot for money was the aftermath of the Woodward tornado. That photo was in the newspaper and many other papers around the country. April 9, 1947 was the deadliest tornado in Oklahoma history. 185 people died 65 years ago yesterday.

Hey some of my best friends resemble Ghetto inhabitants...

Wait, that's what a bigot would say.

I went on an incredible rant yesterday about FB and humanity.

I have been irrecoverably bitter lately and I dont know why. Too much stress I think. God I miss the Reagan era.

Met a friend of a friend a few years ago. Was going to do some artwork for them, designing logo, icons, widgets, etc. for a web based content management system. A couple of weeks after meeting the guy, he tells my friend that he does not only NOT want to do business with me, but he never wanted to see me again because I was a racist. Neither me or my friend that was present when we met could figure what I did or said that made him think I was racist.

Actually I thought it was weird because I don't consider myself racist, and also think it is a kind of racism to NOT have anything to do with someone just because you think they are racist.

I told my friend fuch him the flip flop wearing good for nothing long haired hippie freak.

You mean there is a reason for this?

True. But it still bothers me. I don't want to be this way.

I dont want to be 'that guy'.

Hmm. It is just past 2PM, the weather is still good (not raining) and I feel like I should be doing something constructive. Like being out chasing girls, but I don't know where to start with that. Or doing homework. But thermodynamics is what I need to do and I hate that. The hw is a real PITA too. So I'll probably do some more interesting homework.

Clouds moving in now, though.

You start by going to places with girls to chase. Just be sure they don't have mace or big boyfriends.

Yeah, but I'm up at the top of campus. If I am going to go out looking for girls I want to know where I am going, otherwise it is just a big hassle riding around on the downtown streets with cars everywhere. There's no good place to park for free either.

I guess one of these weekends I should go to the beach but then I would just make a big fool of myself. I can't swim and I have really bad farmer tan. Plus the beach is pretty flat or else cliffs.

Dang, I am just making excuses again. But it would really help to have someone who knows more about popular culture in SLO to guide me.

No tan doesn't matter...

And you can't swim? As in you don't know how, or you aren't very good?

Your school got a pool? Go find a cute lifeguard and get her to teach you.

I'd give you ideas, but I think the town has changed since I have been there.

Well, I've "swam" before in So Illinois on the Ohio River and in various lakes around there, but that involved floating with a vest on. And I am not any good at getting around quickly. That's with no fins, however. But I never have felt like I would be positively bouyant so I am scared of relying on my meager foot thrust to keep my head above water. And I hate getting water in my ears.

Tubing was fun. Never did try to ski. Nervous about trying it for the first time of course. Story of my life...

I'm not really a water person. I did like to fish and float around on those partial family reunion trips to So. Illinois.
