It's funny how her Dad keeps suggesting I take electives in speech and philosophy and stuff like that. I told him I have taken or will be taking GEs in those subjects but he seems to have a thing about them. I've never met an engineer so enthusiastic about that stuff. At least I think I remember him saying he was an engineer. He has an acoustical/vibration analysis company so I would assume so.

But I guess that explains why Regan studied public relations while racing.

Well, at the moment I am not really into racing cars. I like the canyons at a sensible but brisk pace rather than going out into the (really hot or really chilly/windy) desert to go around and around the same circuit many times.

Plus I don't like thinking of all the resources I am splurging by doing so. I like cycling and hiking better right now. But I stll enjoy the occasional blast in the 911 in the Santa Monicas.

But yeah, it does sound good in theory.
