It's not the weight. It is because I don't want to worry about breaking it when I sling my backpack around or if I set it down too harshly or if my backpack falls over or something.

don't limit by picking just talk to them.
They look like sisters to me.

I probably should not say this but they might look so similar to me because they are Asian.

I carried my Dell all over the country for two years in my backpack, it still works fine. I have been carrying my macbook pro all over for the last year. Anytime it goes in my backpack I put in a protective sleeve, not a problem. This includes lots of miles in and out of airports, pickups, trucks, etc....

No, I mean they might only look similar to me because they are Asian and I am not.

There are cute Asians of course- like Tweeze.

Well I know everyone looks different except identical twins but I am just saying they look similar to my (biased) eyes.

Max, just talk to any girl. It does not matter if she is someone you want to date. Learn to talk to any girl any where any time.

Good night guys.

I actually think it would be easier to talk to a total stranger rather than someone I have a class with; if I were in the right setting- not just walking down the street but in some place where the person would be open to chat.

I had a public speaking class a couple years ago. I have no real problems speaking to a group, which may surprise some of you. But anyway we had to write an evaluation of someone else's speech as well. The class was about half girls, maybe more. There was one girl I had my eye on but her speech subject/material did not inspire me to write. But the other girl, a blonde coincidentally, was very cute and had a good speech- or at least one I could remember. So I wrote a nice and strategically flowery review for her. The person being reviewed got a copy of the review, not just the teacher.

She came up to me after class one time and thanked me for the review. It also turned out that she was an RA in my appartment complex so I talked with her at the front desk after that. But it never went anywhere once summer came. Haven't seen her since. She was very nice.

But she was some sort of ag management or ag business major.

I express myself much better via the written word. Even if that means presenting the written word in a speech. Just making stuff up I am not so good at.

Max, there are two instances in the past couple of years I could kick myself over. One was when I was leaving Aspen two summers ago. I flew in privately and out commercially. I really don't like leaving Aspen and would move there in a heartbeat if I could. I was sitting in the small terminal and there happened to be a cute young woman my age on the row of seats on the otherside of the row of seats. She was on crutches! Perfect ice breaker - I'm not great at opening my mouth in the beginning either. Weather was bad and the incoming flight was delayed, so wee had a chance to chat for a bit - this scenario would have completed your challenge . Flight is eventually cancelled and I call dad to get me from the airport and I tell him that we will be giving her a ride back to her friends condo.

I can't say I was totally attracted to her, but in the course of chatting, I thought, "hey, if we can meet up again and go ouht for coffee, drinks, whatever, that'd be cool and what ever happens, happens. I did all the appropriate things, carried her luggage and mine, opened the car door for her, insisted that she sit in the front pax seat....

End of the story is that I only got her first name and she mentioned finding me on Facebook. She caught an earlier flight the next day and I never saw her again. When my dad and I left that condo complex, I mentioned that I was an idiot for not exchanging numbers. He agreed.

I missed the chance to really get to know someone. Maybe it would have gone somewhere, maybe not. I'll never know, because I screwed up.

I never did like the regimen of baseball practices and games. I like my free time to be free I guess. But anyway playing it was alright I suppose. I was never a great hitter. The whole of stick and ball, more team-oriented sports never appealed to me as something I really wanted to do.

I haven't had too many of those ice breaking situations. Probably because I never put myself in a setting where one can occur.
