Morning Y'all. Lost power last night about two and it didn't come back until six. I almost had to go out into the words sans coffee. That would not have been good for the world

That sucks. Going out into the world without coffee is a bad idea.

Good morning folks.

David, if ya gotta get hit, at least it was a commercial van with insurance not some moron with no insurance.

Tweeze, I have had long days like that. I remember one of my worst was driving from Montgomery AL to Atlanta GA and spending the entire day photographing a manufacturing plant that made wiring harness for cars. They started off with a heavy copper wire that they stretched and wound and insulated and bundled together. It was a huge place. After a day of that hot plant I jumped in my un-air conditioned 914 and drove to Daytona Beach FL. I arrived in the early morning and was so tired I had a hard time getting my luggage out of the car and into the room. I had to get up early and and be ready to film a football game that kicked off at 2:00 PM. I had to lug that heavy cast iron movie camera with a huge zoom lens up to the top of the stadium and set it up on the very heavy tripod that I carried up with me. I was so tired after all that I just slept in the motel room that was right on Daytona Beach. I did not even care about all the girls in bikinis just out the door.

Hang in there, it will get better!

True very true. Not much damage just a pain in the butt to deal with.

Glen, you are so sweet. Love the work just tired. Fell asleep last night on the hotel bed with all my work clothes on and the lights on...

David, sucks you got hit. Ditto to what Rick said and I am glad you weren't hurt. What would we do without you?!

well the estimate is not that bad.....$1500 and change.

Went to see the brother who works at a local dealer. That way I know it gets done right.
The kicker it turns out is that the other drivers ins co will neither confirm or deny that they still cover the company.

"Oh honey who is the lawyer in your office who needs some work?"

They would have to be idiots to not have insurance. You will have lawyers beating on your door to go after them unless they are some fly by night company about the go under.

So you get the Pro Bono coverage

A friend of mine in the local PCA is a lawyer. He was awakened one night by the cops. Some drunk driver drove through his front yard and demolished his 924. The drunk's insurance company was dragging their feet about responding. He sent them a nice polite letter on his letterhead and mentioned he had owned that car for many years and was planning on fixing it up for his son to drive. The insurance company sent him a generous offer that he accepted.
