G'day Glen.

It sure has. We do a lot of internet purchases out here, you just can't get a large variety of stuff in the immediate locality and the price is usually a premium.

I'm off to bed - been fighting with a CAD package install here at home and I've had enough. Crap, got to be up in 5 hours

Brrrrrrrrr, it's 6degC outside. The furkids don't want to go out there tonight.

Hoorooooooooooooooooooo

We have a female dachshund named Zoey. When we leave the house we usually lock the dogs in the laundry room. They have a doggie door to go outside. We lock a side gate to keep them out of the main part of the back yard where the pond is just to be sure they don't fall in. When I go out to close the back yard gate Zoey always follows me outside to investigate what is going on. She chases away all the lions, tigers and bears in the back yard to keep me safe.

Anyway the point of the story is that on cold days she will not go outside with me. We call that temperature below "Z".

lunch time. my turn to rant about a the pos rental car. I have an RDX it is a small suv (sort of) so they look it up in their computer see suv and give me a Jeep Grand Crap. A tank. Took me for ever to figure out how to get the auto trans out of sprt mode. I kept having to shift it by hitting the stick. I got out on the freeway and hit the stick enough times that the "D" came up and stayed on.

Two to three days of hell.

My wife's cousin drove down to OKC and met up with my wife's mother to fly to Tennessee. They came from different places so now I have two extra cars parked in my driveway. It is pain to get my El Camino into the garage with the two cars parked in the driveway. It takes a couple of awkward turns to do. I asked my neighbor if we can park one car in his driveway on the side he does not use, and he said OK. Since she is about the same height as my wife I asked my wife to move it since I would have to figure out how to move the seat. A short 75 ft drive and it is moved. It took us a couple of minutes to figure how to get the key out of the ignition. Why in the world do you have to push a button on the bottom of the steering wheel to get the key out?

So my question to the group, what is the purpose of having to button to to remove a key? Who decided that was a logical thing and why?

On the way to work this morning I was listining to my standard music DVD. The song "Star Star" by the Stones was playing. I remember hearing about some DJ that got fired for playing that on air. I don't think that will ever be played on the radio.
