Ha ha... I wear makeup.
Glen, I like reading about all of you guys tinkering with your cars. I don't comment because I am still a newbie and just trying to even understand what you guys are talking about. I haven't had time lately to put towards Porsche stuff but I try when I can. That is why I wish some of you guys lived closer and I wasn't all over the place. I have been looking for women's car clubs around my area. You guys can be intimidating sometimes and I don't want to "girly" up this thread. Even though I imagine to a certain extent I already have. That isn't why some of you guys are taking a break, is it? Because if it is, I will gladly step aside. You guys were here first. I crashed the party. Now time to practice some more with the ultrasound machine and my needle inserting skills.... |

Tweeze, if you want to be wowed/intimidated by 911 technical prowess, I recently modified my 964 to make my fog lights serve as daytime running lights.
All it took was me buying a certain Bosch relay, and plugging it into a space in my car's relay/fuse panel designed for that very purpose for non-US cars.

This thread badly needs more women to make it normal. Life without women is just ...... well like a one sided coin. Ie. worthless.
Don't u stijiners let your women read this thread? The hook is baited. Let's see what happens. I just love crashing parties. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Well, again, you guys are in luck. I am not a normal woman.
case and point, how many other women do you see on Pelican in general? and the ones that are, we are all very unique. Yes?And Jim, I am gonna look at that tonight. Will probably ask you questions.

Evening Y'all.
Had a nice one with my boss today, I told him I was not hired as a line tech, I have no desire to going back to being a line tech, and he can't afford me as a line tech. He kind of mumbled something under his breath and I handed him one of my cards. I am $110 an hour here at the house, his shop only charges $78. I think he got my message.

It's easy Sid, Just to to your email acct, in settings find the "attach phone" and after you do that, go to the email tab on the phone and follow the instructions. GMail is very very easy to do with android.
D a line tech is a mechanic that works on what is called the line. Basically I am no longer a mechanic and have no desire to do it ever again

In my trade a line tech sits on an assembly line. I refer to them as organic robots

Yup, State and DOT inspections. Well I am supposed to, my boss decided to throw a bunch of domestic work at me, and I don't mind helping out but not like it has been. I am close to smacking that little puke

So if you are not spinning a wrench anymore, what are you doing Rick? I am dreaming of the day when I wipe my tool box down, and put the cover on it.

i had a really really weird situation just a bit ago, as in less than 45 minutes:
i drove my motorcycle to the corner market to fill up on gas. it is a 1.5 block journey, thus no time or space for me to piss anyone off by going fast, etc. i fill up and pay for my fuel. i get back on the bike. this pickup truck, maroon and gray, i think, stops at the sign there at the corner. the driver starts screaming at me. i am like, "who me?" i look around and back at the ranter. now, he about halfway out the window and pointing and yelling. i hear something like this, "buddy, you live over there?!" he is pointing in the opposite direction of where i live. i nod my head and helmet then take off in the opposite direction his truck is pointing. i drove around the neighborhood for a bit and then went home. the bike is parked in the driveway, as the 951 is blocking the garage. i did get the pistol out and made sure the chamber is empty but the clip is full. WTF?!
