That is an even better idea! Chicks dig skate tricks - I think. And if you hit a telephone pole or something then she might come help.

We've been over this before. Turning one's head, usually ends in disaster.

If I can do it on a bike I don't see why you can't do it on rollerblades. You don't blade on the sidewalk, right?

I am on a two lane bike path that has a lot of twigs, rocks, uneven surfaces, and stupid people. If you don't pay attention, twigs and rocks can stop you in your tracks and send you flying. I really have to keep my head down, I tend to look about 6' in front of me, occasionally looking up to see what's ahead.

I should clarify that. I only turn my head to check for cars and faster bikes, especially if I have to change lanes. Well, most of the time, anyway. I make sure to check for cars after I ride past hotties.

Guess I need to design some full-suspension rollerblades for you then.

Yes, I can take a quick look over my shoulders, but it's not enough to get a good look at anyone.

That's what makes it less obvious.

I saw a different pair, for the street. The shock absorber/spring was above the frame.

This: Looks like a computer mock-up. Not sure if it exists.

The middle one looks like street wheels.

I think I will go to this free concert at Boo-Boo's on Sunday at 4. It is "Mariee Souix". Never heard of her but from what her Wikipedia entry says, I think she plays music I would like.

I am going to get up early tomorrow while it is cool, like only 90 and work on some of the sprinkler heads. Some of them are not working properly. Digging in the dirt is fun. I keep trying to convince myself of that.

Ewwwww, about the cats. Sad if it's somebody doing it.

And yeah, skating backwards to check out a girl... Not such a good idea. Looks like you are trying too hard.

What if you are just naturally a show-off and skate backwards?
